PETA considers keeping pets to be "enslaving" animals. They would rather kill homeless pets than rehome them. It sounds crazy but it's true. They don't advertise it because most people completely disagree with this policy and would stop giving PETA their money. PETA is an extremist group. They've committed countless crimes in the name of animal rights. Check out 7 things you didn't know about PETA: www.petakillsanimals.com/article_detail.cfm?article=134OH man I wish I knew the link. But I saw this video once and it was some PETA guy getting totally flamed. The (reporter?) kept asking questions about why they kill animals and all kinds of other things and the PETA guy was stumbling and stuttering and getting all nervous bc it was all true and he couldn't think of anything to say. I laughed pretty hard. They are a pretty terrible group IMO. Very hypocritical. LOVE the eaten husband picture. I am so sorry for your loss.

Yeah I really dislike PETA. The worst part is people don't realize what PETA is really about. I mean everyone has heard of them and PETA is synonymous with animal rights now days so people who love animals assume that by giving money to PETA they're helping animals. Then PETA turns around and uses the money to kill animals and hire criminals to do their dirty work.

I've been following up on this story. Does it ever sound like bull..Omg, this flusters me. Telling people that have been in contact with sly - can't believe that a ferret could even be capable of anything close to that!! Mind you, Sly isn't abused or very 'aggressive'
These parents are dumb as hell...
btw, i'm sorry for your loss!! I'm sure your husband was a great man!

Yea I had to stop reading about this after 2 days the comments seemed ever ignorant and the reporting seems non existent and filled with anti ferret opinion rather than fact.
PETA is a horrible group , they are radical extremists on par with any jihadi group and in fact worse as they've wormed their way into everyones good graces while keeping most ignorant of their true agenda. Some retarded percentage of the money they collect is spent funding efforts to collect more funds it's sickening really.

Yeah did you know one of the head honcho lady's with PETA has a diabetic condition and the insulin she uses is actually made out of animals and was found in animal testing? You know what her response was? That a few animals needed to be sacrificed so she could continue to fight the good fight to free animals. You ask me she sounds like a hypocrite. No animal should die to save human life, well except to save her life. And thank you for your condolences! LOL

HAHA the pictures from that one news site are being switched because the owner of the yawning ferret got on there and was mad her picture was stolen and then used out of context. She had said the ferret WAS in fact yawning and that he was the sweetest ferret she had. They changed it to the Jason like mountain dew ferret. The one in the hockey mask holding a chainsaw. Some one else at the bottom said they reported it to mountain dew who has a hold lot of legal pull! LOL

LOL Yup and PETA’s president has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.” I don't believe in testing cosmetics on animals but medical testing saves not only human lives, but also the lives of people's pets. Medicine wouldn't be what it is today without animal testing.

Medicine wouldn't be what it is today without animal testing. Yeah I know. I saw Penn and tellers BS on PETA, and they said something that kinda got me thinking and in some ways I agree with. They said, "If i had to strangle every single cute little monkey on the entire planet with my bare hands to cure ONE person of AIDS, I would do it." Now we all know something that drastic wouldn't be needed to find a cure but it does make sense in a way. No I don't like it. But how many choices are there to finding cures to illness? The main thing I hate is The conditions they are left in, and cosmetic or food testing (because they go through all kinds on unnecessary things like cutting off the dogs legs while they are alive to test muscle in relation to the foods they gave them.) And I don't agree with unnecessary medical animal testing, like sewing a monkeys eyes closed to test devices for blindness. Wouldn't it be more effective to use moneys born blind? And I mean I'm sorry. I love my pets to death, but if it came between my kids or my pets, I'd choose my kids every time. I would do all I could to prevent any harm coming to my pets though.
