Monday only dooks when i play with her. When she's alone there's no sound at all. We have this back and forth thing sometimes, when we're playing and she dooks like crazy, i'll laugh back, so she has to dook harder and louder xD Such a momma's girl She also giggles like crazy when i tickle her sides

Paulie dooks when wrestling with and caring for his dragons. He's suck a little chuckler as he washes them and then snuggles around them to sleep. They are his babies (such a maternal hob, haha.)

haha This is a fun thread! Koda dooks at me, and I dook back! Shane can do a really good ferret dook but mine sounds more like a mentally-challenged monkey. hahaha I think Koda just thinks we are a little handicapped, or have speech impediments. He will definitely have conversations with us though when he is excited.

Usually, whenever my leg comes over the plexiglass "door", they start dooking! Other than that, food time (especially evening meal), when I wrestle them/chase them and when I give them "rides" in their tunnels or on a piece of fabric.
So they dook quite a bit, although it always just sounds more like a demented giggle when they do it!

Lately, the ferrets have been into the pillowcase game. This entails stuffing them (a couple at a time, or just one) into a pillowcase. Then, I gently shake it up, or sometimes, I'll drag it lightly on the floor. Then, I dump them into a huge pile of covers. The love that one. They dook a ton after that and get really excited. They also love being popped with a pillow into large piles of covers

Dingo dook's are funny. I'll pick him up when he's ether wandering, or playing and tickle his sides untill he's dooking and stretching his head to try to get back to my hands. Unforently when he realizes I'm human, He hops up and runs off like.." EW! I just played with a human..Thank god no one saw that. "

Ooohhh this is a fun thread. Zoey dooks when she plays in her tunnels and turns around inside the tunnels, she used to do this for hours. Huck dooks when you drag him around on a towel or blanket. Sid, well he is always dooking, you can look at him and he dooks. But he really loves getting thrown into a big pile of soft blankies on the couch. Then you gotta look out, he goes mental, I have a scar on my forhead from him and his dooking, he was bouncing around and managed to pierce me with his tooth. They all dook when they get to go upstairs, excepy Indy he hasn't figured out how to even get up the stairs. I love it when my guys are having fun clucking around and I especially love it when they wag their tails too.

Rufus dooks when he is doing something naughty and is thinking he is getting away with it (his little chatter always gives him away!!)
I recently bought a cat toy which is a little soft ball and a bell tied with elastic to a long plastic stick. He LOVES IT. He goes absolutely nuts playing with it and dooks like mad. When he does that I have a 'conversation' with him and dook back. (and then he completely loses it and runs around like a maniac!) it is truly the most adorable thing I've ever seen... Always puts a great big smile on my face :-D

Oh! He also dooks AFTER he is running away from doing something naughty. His favorite naughty thing is knocking over glasses of water. I learnt very quickly to keep them out of his way!! I can't possibly get mad at him when he finds it so hilarious...cheeky little monkey :-D

Louie, Zoe, and Sayen all dook when they play together, and Zoe will dook sometimes when she is excited. I haven't heard Lestat dook yet.

Koda dooks at my iguana Tito. his "best friend." He gets all excited and thinks she will come play with him and dooks at her to come play, then gets mad when she does not and sulks off dooking angrily. Kenai does a lot of crying. He cries when he gets a bath, and he cries when Koda is dragging him around the room by his face... But I noticed he is like a puppy and "barks." He cries and makes all kinds of noises (not screams or dooks, cries and "puppy barks" lol) when he is wrestling with Koda...whether he is on the bottom or the top. Sometimes I think Koda is being a bully and look over to see Kenai being the bully and barking at Koda while they play, or trying to entice Koda with a bark...I think perhaps he thinks he is a dog...? It is really cute though, Koda was never that vocal.

I remembered a good one that one of my past ferrets used to do. I have two cats. One, the ferrets love to tease cus he doesn't stick up for himself much. The other, they learn not to mess with right away cus if they even get close to her they will get a good thump on the head. Well one of my ferrets figured out how she can more safely bug the ornery cat. She would climb under the comforter the cat was laying on then poke her nose at her. Meanwhile the cat is getting pissed and batting and hissing at the ferret, but with the comforter it softened the blows. So my ferret would just dook up a storm at how smart she was They so love to get a rise out of others. One of my favorite things about them Here's my favorite picture of them together. Pickles (the cat) was actually really cute and gentle with Nachoda (the ferret) when Nachoda was a baby and an only ferret. I think Pickles was hurt after Nachoda ditched her for another ferret and that's when she started being so ornery towards them.
