Get some pumpkin into those little ones....what type of meat are you feeding...tell us exactly what you're feeding. Bone doesn't cause liquid poops, so there's something else going on. Have you been feeding any organ meat? ciao

But exactly "what" are they eating now? Chicken wings? Thighs? Beef? Snacks/treats? Is the diarrhea all day/every day? Or only after certain meals? We're trying to figure out what's causing it. And the pumpkin right now is needed to help prevent dehydration.

Another consideration is a blockage but this is multiple ferrets so that's unlikely. I would like it if you would keep a journal...what is fed,---for example -- duck, bone in--- was it all eaten, if some left what was left...the bone?? Either that or actually post it here so that we can try and see some type of pattern and draw a conclusion. Also, make sure you identify individual ferrets. Does the loose stools occur after eating a certain type of protein or is it all the time? One of my students discovered her guys had better quality of stool when pumpkin was fed regularly and she upped her bone. Not all ferrets react the same way to all diets. It's the bonus and the frustration of feeding raw. I've got a couple of guys who have to eat bone on a daily basis or they get loose stools. Are the stools loose but formed, loose messy or loose lets miss the litter box altogether and hit the wall?? Sometimes it's not diet, this could be a bacterial, viral or parasitic infection...it does happen. It's not usually diet related but it can happen. Has anyone in the household had any flu symptoms, any friends. Sometimes we don't even need to show symptoms because we already have the antibodies, ferrets may have never encountered this pathogen before and therefore their bodies react. Have your little ones been out in the heat? Heat causes loose stools in ferrets and other pet too. Just a few ideas to think about. If it continues or if your little ones start showing signs of dehydration DO NOT hesitate to take them to the vet. The cost of a vet visit is small to the cost of loosing a furchild ciao

looking back, i think its th porc heart that causes the worst diarrhea, but it seems like no matter what i feed them, its always liquid. theyve been eating chicken wings, porc chops, calf liver, porc heart and chicken gizzards. for today they ate porc chops and went to sleep so theres nothing going on yet. their poo is anywhere from straight out watery or sometimes its thick gooey looking

ok, with the pork chops they probably won't be eating much bone if any. You should probably get very loose stools, unless they've had bone within the last 24 hrs. I still don't think that in that list that you just told me that there is near enough bone and a lot of really rich meat. That's going to cause runny poops unless you've left out some bone that they're eating. Ferrets need a lot of bone. ciao

Then give those every other day at least. Or even one meal wings/backs, and the other meal that day something else.

It's summer time. It's quite possible the flies have simply laid eggs in the litter. How often do you scoop/change the box? I really think you also need to have a stool sample from each of them tested as well, to rule out bacterial infection.

I scoop my litter boxes daily....my brats like to put their raw meat in there, so the litter boxes are cleaned out (not changed entirely) daily. When you're feeding raw and you want to keep the bug population down, change frequently. Even if you don't see it the little ones love to stash their meat in the litter boxes. Nature of the wee beasties ciao

However, if they are still having very liquid diarrhea, they really do need to be checked out for some type of infection. Otherwise they can become very dehydrated.

I second that too. If you've tried all the above suggestions and they're still having liquid poops then it sounds like an infection of some sort and may require an antibiotic ciao
