1. How many ferrets do you currently have? What are their names, ages, genders, and do they have any health problems?
I have two ferrets, Skunkers and Thomas J. Skunkers will be 3 August 28 and Thomas is 5 and a half months. Skunkers supposedly has early stage and early signs of Adrenal and Insulinoma.
2. What are your ferrets currently eating? What Kind of diet do you want to switch to?
Evo kibble, duk soup, and some cooked chicken sometimes
3. Please list the current weight for your ferret(s). Do they appear overweight? Underweight? How is there muscle tone?
I do not know their current weight off hand. But Skunkers is kinda small for a ferret. He's not too skinny. Thomas is going to be a big boy, he looks like he has good muscle tone and a bit of flab.
4. What is the condition of your ferret's teeth/gums? (can you get a picture?)
Skunkers broke two off his canines the first two months I had him. I can only guess from trying to get out of the cage or genetic tooth problem. He is missing one of his top ones and one of his bottom ones, on the opposite side of each other. Now the other two are a little discolored, like clear almost. Some of his back teeth are showing a little bit of dark gray, probably time to get his teeth cleaned? Thomas has nice teeth and gums.
5. Describe the texture/color of your ferrets coat.
Skunkers is all white with a gray spot on this tail. But because of his Adrenal I have to wash his face and shoulder area often, because he gets crusty greasy brown stuff there. And he is often pretty yellow. His coat is is normal and soft. Thomas is younger so he is really soft with the brown sable markings, with a normal coat.
6. How often does your ferret go to the bathroom?
How often I do not know, maybe every other hour. But I have to spot clean the litter box everyday if that helps. Thomas is a big pooper. LOL
7. Does your ferret's feces and/or urine smell?
Feces Not really, but urine smells like cat litter box urine, (ammonia)
8. Smell your ferret. How strong is their odor?
Not strong at all to me, but I might be used to it.
9. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being completely lethargic and 10 being "through the roof!" what is your ferret's energy level?
Skunkers 6
Thomas 9
10. How excited is your ferret about meal time (when fed kibble)?
No reaction. Its always available to them in the cage
11. What other information about your ferret(s) would you like to share?
Both my ferrets know how to roll over for a treat!
And Skunkers has a watery eye. He has had this since I had him. The vet told me he was probably born with no tear duct in that eye. But I did try some eye stuff he gave me years ago and it seemed to work then, but in the past year it just started again. But I dont think it bothers him. Skunkers is also currently on Pednisone and Nutra cal. Which I dont like. And the vet also suspects he has Inslunoma because he had a seizure with bloody watery clear stool. Looked like egg yoke. Skunkers was also born with a broken tail at the tip. I heard this happens in the womb. Skunkers also pulled out a toe nail a couple years ago and it grew back crooked, its looks funny.

You may remember reading one of my threads about switching to raw. Well I tried it tonight and they both sneered away from it. They looked at me saying" I aint eating that stuff mom!" Well at least my one cat took at taste at it for a while. I even pretended to enjoy it in front of the ferrets. So whats the next step on getting them to eat it?
