So with all the work I do getting FERRETS healthy, I thought it would be a bit hypocrytical if I didnt get MYSELF healthy as well Im not overweight, so my goal is not to lose weight, but I do want to start eating healthier, exercising more, and spending more time outdoors. I spend hours upon hours sitting in front of this computer screen, and I think it would be healthy to start getting more active. I have a Hawaiian vacation that is exactly 1 month away. So I figured it would be a good plan to "get in shape" (again, not lose weight, just tone up and get healthy ) before the trip. I've decided to start going for a walk outdoors each day (or night) and go to the gym 3 times per week. Im going to start out going to the gym for 30 minutes each time, but I'd like to work up to an hour per visit by the time I leave for Hawaii next month. I think this would be a good way to keep me healthy, so that I dont burn out while helping everyone out. Who wants to pop in and ask me "how was the gym? " so that I am held accountable?

I like exercising my abs.. I can't see them (yet) but when I exercise them, they get really sore so I know they are under there somewhere!!! lol. I lost a lot of weight last year.. I just need to get back into a work out routine this year. I sorta quit exercising during the winter (Hibernation! lol). STAY FOCUSED!!! Stay away from those fried plantains, too. -~Ketlins

What the heck are "plantains" Have I been living in a closet or something, or is it a local thing? Forget the glutes....men like butts anyway. Focus on the abs and thighs! Nasty old cellulite. 'Course, you're so young you probably don't have any of that yet! Wait until you are old and grey(ing) like me!!!

Plantains look like green bananas, they are hard and starchy like a potato. Very yummy when they are fried. Cellulite can happen to someone at any age. My young cousin has it pretty bad and she just turned 13!!

Oh believe you me sister, god smiled upon me, I was blessed with some nice "junk in the trunk" lol I've got a butt, hips, and boobs and a teeny tiny 25 inch waist. I thank god everyday lol! I LOVE being curvy (hence why I dont want to lose weight, just be healthy and tone up )

Plaintains are the best food ever! Its a cousin of a banana. Its like if a potato and a banana had a baby together it would be a plaintain. Very starchy (like maria said) but also somewhat sweet. I slice them and fry them up in peanut oil. Add salt and dip in sour cream. Mmmmmm! The best!

Hey, I used to be ALOT more "round" I lost 25lbs my junior year of high school (I needed to, even my doctor agreed) I feel SO much better since that! All that extra weight on my bad knee (old injury) was really killing me. I cant believe I've been able to keep that weight off for all those years, its been a miracle really lol!

So, how's the gym goin'? I tell ya what, if *I* had the opportunity to go to Hawaii, I might even get my lazy butt up for some tonin' (and fat burnin' hehe) in preparation!! I am nicely tanned now, though, thanks to my dad having a pool and a million foot tall fence around the house...(tanned fat looks better than white fat, right? )
