Woah, Surprised to see you there. Aw, Thanks for checking up on us, That's so Nice. Last night he ate all the chopped up chicken (the size of his kibble) in his moistened kibble. So I, just now, after playing with him added some more chicken to the mix, the same size only some peices are slightly bigger. He's eating it as I type. x3 I was so happy seeing that all the chicken was gone, well.. most of it at least, it took me awhile to notice a few still in there, but I'm so proud of him, ; D I also added more water, the consistency is really just moist dust, but as the day goes on maybe it'll become a bit soupy, I'm thinking that's more likely for tomorrow or the next day though. ;3 Okay, so things are great. :3 I'll keep adding more itty bitty chicken bits after they're gone and pour little amounts of water until you get back, Is it monday? Wow, Well that's tomorrow, so We'll see what your having us do then. See ya' soon.

Wow.. Great job Colbert! *claps* Keep it up but try reducing the kibble or taking it ALL away if hes actually eating chicken. Kibble and meat run at different rates through the digestive tract and kibble slows the meat down.
If hes eating Chicken, there is really no point in keeping him on kibble is there?

Oh, Alright. Of course. ;D Okay, In the morning I'll chop up the chicken and put it in there with just a sprinkling of the kibble and see how he does with that. Then if he does well, At his next meal time I'll take away the kibble completely. Gosh, I hope this works, ha. :3

Alright, ;D Great. x3 Well, this morning I chopped up the chicken, that I breaded before, into little bits and put that in his bowl without any more kibble, besides the crushed kibble stuck to the chicken. Aaanndd, HE GOBBLED it up! I was so happy and proud of him. cB He ate most of it, then the second time around he ate the rest, Now, I'm de-frosting the other chicken breast for his later meal, and with that, It's not going to be breaded into kibble, Just meat. Hahh, Yeah, He is. and he thanks you with kisses. I'll post how he did on the chicken later tonight! ;D

Sorry, I didn't reply last night. The chicken wasn't done de-frosting, so instead I fed him more of the breaded chicken. This morning, however, it was done and I gave him half breast of cut-up chicken, slighty bigger pieces than last time, absolutley no kibble, and after a few sniffs he dug right in! ; D Woot! Woot! c8 It's not completely gone yet, but he ate I'd say 80% of it and who knows he's probably eating the rest right now, Ha :] Soo, Teacher, What do I do the rest of the day? You think he's ready to eat the wing and bone? 'Cause he's only eaten cut-up chicken.. Would it be okay to give him the other half of the breast, (Maybe cut in half), to see if he could handle a big piece right now? Iduno:)

Give him a wing, not a WHOLE wing but like a wingett and see if he takes to that, it might take him a while to eat the bones (like beast did) but now i rarely have any bones left over from any part of anything i feed him. Lets move him onto RMB (raw meaty bones) then we can graduate him to organs. GASP then all thats left is variety (and whole prey if you want to do that sorta thing, i know mouse day is beasts favorite day of the week =)

Alright, Coolness. I'll give him a wingett, when he's hungry. Wow! Seems he's moving along pretty fast. :] Wonder what he'll think of the wing, And the bone, Ha. ; D Oh Noo, Not mice. I'm not feedling him whole prey, I'm not quite ready for that, Hahh, x3 Awh, Sounds like a treat, for him. I wouldn't be able to do it though,

So tonight when I gave him the wing, (Not the whole thing I pretty much just cut some off one end and a little off the other end) I was so surprised that after a few licks, he was pulling at it and knawing it. GAH, I'm so proud!! ; D It's just so awesome that he's taken right to it, The little ferret that he is. x3. <3. I took him outside afterwards, the sky was dim, I think he likes going outside at night ore than in the day; He was exploring and not just keeping to the deck and the shady spots (If it were sunny). He was running and sniffing, and having a little adventure, It was so cute and cool to watch. ^^ As he was walking along the fence-side he buried his nose in this grass patch and lingered there for a bit, I was like Wat're you doin'? and bent down and saw a dead bird right there, I'm like Omg, xD I bet he woulda' ate it. Hahh, I picked him up and took him away from it, into the front yard and that was it, Lol. Got me thinking about giving him mice though, I'm thinking he would really enjoy them and after reading alot of posts about people's babies just loving them..I dunno, Hahh. I'm on the fence about it, but when I really think about in realistic terms, I know that #1: My mom would strictly forbid it, and #2 when the time came and I held the poor little mouse.. I would either keep it as a pet if it was alive.. or just bury it if it was dead, Poor thing. Hahh, I'm a wimp. Anyway, Mr. Colbert is doing VERY well, and I'm so happy for him, and proud of him. :3 Maybe it's just me, but He looks alot happier already, even though he was a happy little booger before too, ; D Ha, And I have noticed he hasn't been pooing very much, and when he does it's only a very, very small amount. Is this alright? It certainly doesn't look like his poo before, when I had him on kibble, but I knew it would be different. I just want to confirm that it's healthy. So.. Without further adieu, How is his poop supposed to look? :3 Forgot to mention yesterday, that He didn't eat the whole thing and even though I heard some crunching, as in him eating bones, I think those were small ones. He's leaving behind a long thick-ish bone, but I'm sure he'll figure it out eventually. :3 This morning I gave him the leftovers and he ate more of it, when he is finished with the piece, I'm going to give him the other "half" of the wing which is the more meaty and boney part, (It's the middle of the wing, The "Real" part of wing, like us humans eat. ;] ). :3

Yay! And just a few minutes ago, he was knawing on the bone, putting his teeth marks in it and really trying to get it. x] So I think he's readied himself to start eating bone. But the 'nobby' end of the bone got stuck in his fangs, o.o It was a little scare, especially after reading that they can choke on bones and get them stuck in their teeth. o.o I thought his mouth wouldn't be big enough for him to pull his teeth out of there, but with a little help from my jiggling he did, thank goodness. I'm always going to be really watchful when his eating bones, that scares me to death. Heh. x3 So, are we going to start on the organs when he's finished with this wing? 'Cause he's still working on the same one, I did put more meat of it in there, So now he's working on the whole wing is three parts, and he's just knawing it and, and, he's just so fine, xD Hah, I'm so glad we did this. x33 Yeas, I will give him many kisses and hugs from you, Wouldn't be able to get this far without ya' Kate. ; D Ya know what.. If my petstore has frozen mice..I'm going to give him some of those, because the way I see it.. They are already dead and they need to die for a purpose, so they're purpose is feeding my baby, Lol.. Only if they're frozen though. I read that the fur cleans out the disgestive tract, so thats really good. :3 So, I'll tell ya' if they do have live mouse, and if they do we can go from there, and if they don't we'll just forget about it. ;] Hahh, x3 Well, On the topic of his leavings, Yes, they are considerabley less stinky! But.. They're also getting.. colorful.. Orange and Yellow stuff? It's a bit longer too. Is this normal too?

K what we're gonna do is set out a schedule for you to start feeding on k? K. you need RMB atleast 4 days a week, i feed RMBS all week long because on organ and just muscle meat their poops get a little runny and speaking of poo you'ree gonna have some funky lookin ones in the beginning dont worry about it they'll clear up in a week or two.
K so for your schedule your goal is RMB 4 times a week and organs atleast 2 times a week (gizzards hearts kidneys livers fall into this category) If all you can find is liver only feed ONE chicken liver (if you have any other animal livers cut it down to the size of a chicken liver) the main reason for this issss to prevent an excess of vitamin A. <3 try that and check in.
Oh and sorry i was kinda absent i let the Brian borrow my laptop hes been naughty with it though so he doesnt get to use it again. K im going to bed now Night night! sleep well give my love to the fuzzy thing =)

Alright, 4x a week for RMB. 2x Organs. 1x Muscle Meat.
Got it. I'll set up a week plan. :3
So, this is what I've been doing for Colbert since friday, since I wasn't home for him alot. The first day I fed him one part of the second wing in the morning, after he was finished I took it out and put it in the fridge, then gave it to him again when I came home at night.
The next day I gave him the rest of the wing and did the same thing. The day after that, I left the wing in there all day and when I came home there was only one bone left. So, I put in leftover Chicken breast for meaty-ness last night and this morning.
He's doing pretty well, after all this hu-bub (the play) is over I'm going to be spending alot of quality time with him. We both sure need that.
Should I take out the Chicken legs? Or the organs? What's his next big meal? x3
Okay, I understand about the liver. I just got a small chicken, So I'll give him one of those. With that liver does he need any other organs that day? :\
Am I just feeding chicken to him? I heard variety of animals is good, But is chicken alright alone?
