Sounds great (and thanks for posting what each of the furkids ate, it makes it sooo much clearer for me )
Hooray you've got some of your kiddos eating adult mice! Excellent! and you are absolutely right to offer a variety of ages. Throw in those hoppers/pinkies/fuzzies for variety, but be sure that you are feeding a bit more adults then the babies (agan because they are higher in calcium).
It sounds like your babies are doing wonderfully! If they are eating the chunks the next step is to slowly work up to making the chunks slightly bigger and bigger. Take it slow (no rush) and work on getting them to eat a bigger chunk, then you'll be ready to start them on the wings!
As for them only eating parts of the adult mouse, thats normal (but its GREAT that they actually ate some!) Give them another few days and just like fang demonstrated, the mouse will be all gone.
Great work! Im so excited for you! Sounds like things are going great!
tyvm well yesterday at 1st i cut up some chunks of chicken and most of them went nuts over it and fang badger wolf ate most of it then made a small bowl of the soup mix for the rest of them. ok i will do that with the adult mice i work tomorrow so i will pick up somemore packs of them it was funny with wolf i had to put ferretvite on the head and hold it then he was bitting it and chewing it took him a few mins but he did it lol and that was 2 hours after he had 2 pinkies though. he is getting there and badger i dont think was all that hungy.
In Tonites soup i made the chunks bigger and within an hour and half it was all gone i put less water in it also tomorrow they will get chicken hearts and kidney's and we'll see how they do with that and who eats it. with wolf eatting the pinkie tonite i didnt even put any ferretvite on it yes so very happy about that one.
Going to thaw a adult mouse for Fang a little later and see what she does with it will see if Wolf and Badger will eat on it 1st though seems ollie really doesnt want to try the soup he really turns his nose up at it i mean i dont sit out there and watch him but he does feel much heavier then he did so maybe he has had some not 100% sure. all the times i have only seen him with his face in the kibble feeder lol.

Excellent photos! Go babies, go! Oh I am just so proud of your bunch. Sounds like they are doing great! So when you say "big chunk" do you mean that you've increased the size of the chunks? If so, whoo hooo!
yes i have i was cutting them into dime size now they are half dollar size and the bowl is just about gone and so is the adult mouse fang ate that right up and this week when i do the shopping i am going to get some beef and pork along with beef heart and make some little baggies and freeze them just like i did with the chicken hearts liver and kidenys so i'll i have to do is take one out and bamm one meal for 8 ferrets tyvm on the pixs wolf even made growled at fang and took off with the wing lol he didnt want to share.
tyvm the placemate is in front of there litter pan fang is being a brat and pooping right in front of it and the placemate is easy to clean vs carpet lol dont know whats gotten into her these days and doing that
today they are going to get more mice and the soup lets see if we can get ollie to get eat some of it he isnt very much on the soup mix and dont know why all the others eat it. mmm he is the hardest to get to eat some we will see
