Today i made the turkey soup with out the kibble and made it chucky and wolf, fang, clude, Doe were there eatting it and man wolf was going to town on it lol i am going to leave it in there cage while i go to work and my BF will take it out when he comes home so it will stay there for 4 hours that should be long enough and ok for it. and tomorrow when i get home i am going to give them liver/turkey soup and freeze the rest of the liver and take the package of chicken hearts out and see what they do with that. i did put kibble in the cage as i do when i go to work but just enough for the day about 3 bird food bowl scoops since i dont get off till 930 tonite. i hate this shift. and tomorrow wolf will get another pinkie and still feeding superworms and they all lick them but when they move they dont like it lol
olie is so so on the turkey soup he will eat some but not alot of it now oso is getting into really good now and Kat she will go and smell the bowl and take a few licks and thats its she is the little princess of the family lol or should i say queen kat lmao well see how they do tomorrow with liver/turkey soup after work and going to give wolf another pinkie lol its getting there guess with so many ferrets its going to take some longer to get there then others
today made up a bowl of liver and turkey soup and wolf, fang, clude, olie badger were all in the bowl and it was funny fang and badger were pulling chuncks of liver out so now i have liver all over the floor lol now the bowl is almost gone its getting there wooohooo
wolf ate 2 pinkies today and 3 superworms plus he ate alot of the turkey soup he is a little chow hound lol think tomorrow i might try a fuzzy and see what he does with it when we came home from the meeting the bowl of soup was gone they ate it all up wooohoo thats really good to me this was the 1st time they ate the whole bowl

Oh wow! So did ALL of your fuzzies eat some of the soupie?
You might want to work on making a beef, chicken, or pork soupy. Turkey is a pretty lean meat (and ferrets need a fairly high amount of fat) You could even offer a turkey soup but throw some beef or pork chunks in there (for extra fat).
ok will try that tomorrow what i did today was buy a chicken breast boneless skinless lol just wanted one and i cut a few little pieces and of course fang was the 1st one there and man she was going nuts over it and badger and clude was licking it and took a small bite then it was time to take badger and fang out and let the rest try and OMG wolf had a field day on it he ate the most of the chicken i got pixs also need to download them and resize them and will post i also tryed to get him to eat a fuzzie with ferretvite but no way he wanted the chicken so fang and badger got it. i also got an adult frozen mouse for fang and badger for tomorrow we will see how they do on it. and oso even licked the chicken so we are gettin there with them all its one step at a time but now seems like they are really into the chicken thanks again for the help

Excellent! Thank you for posting pictures!
So copy and paste this list below and tell me exactly what each fuzzy is currently eating (include if they are eating kibble, if they are eating soup, if they are eating chicken chunks, and if so how big, if they are eating organ meat, if they are eating prey, if they are eating chicken wings, etc. Let me know every last thing that is going into each fuzzy's mouth):
Doe: Clude: Oso: Fang: Wolf: Ollie: Kat: Badger:
Has anyone begun to eat bones yet? If not, then I think its time to offer your kids a raw chicken wing. Cut gashes into the wing (so they can learn to get a grip on the meat) and watch closely to see who eats it and who doesnt.
I am happy to see that things are going smoothly. I look forward to working with you more to get your babies totally switched!
hope that helps you out what i do is only leave enough kibble in there feeder while i'm at work and over nite but when at home they have all raw in there cage/playpen and they seem to really go after the soup i make it less watery so they have to eat the chunks and there is no kibble in it there hasnt been for a week. i will let them have a chicken wing i also have chicken backs in the freezer now what beef should i try or pork now?

Excellent! Backs might take some practice (to learn how to eat) but wings are a good plan.
What I would do is this:
before you offer wings gradually increase the size of the chunks for Clude, Oso, Fang, Wolf, and Badger. Get them eating a full chicken breast, or atleast HALF a breast. Then you can take a chicken wing. Break it into 3 segments (at the joints) and offer that. They may/may not eat it right away.
As for Doe, Ollie, and Kat continue to work on getting them on to chunks. You can offer all the babies beef and pork as added food enrichment, what I would do is turn it into soup (to make the soup fattier).
Work with Fang, Wolf, and Badger on eating larger mice. Your goal should be to get them on to adult mice (with pinkies and fuzzies and hoppers thrown in occasionally, but the majority of the mice you feed being adults.)
Thanks for filling me in on each of the kids. It REALLY helped me get a clearer picture of who is eating what
Keep working (you are doing great!) and if you could post your updates from now on like you did above (where you write your babies name and then say what they are doing) that would rock (it would help me keep everyone straight so I can spot potential problems and offer suggestions better
ok i will do that from now on with them cool thanks for the help i have an adult mouse in the freezer and will try that tomorrow when i tryed the fuzzie tonite wolf didnt want it he wanted the chicken lol and i will get some beef and pork also i even have chicken hearts. will taken them out and see what they do.
oso: was eatting some if the turkey soup with small chicken chunks in it woohoo its a great start i havent put any kibble in there yet i wont till i go to bed and i will leave the soup in there till then also and will post how the bowl is see how much they eat.
They were all doing very good on the soup today even pulling some of the chunks out i cut them into small pieces though so they would just get a little bite of it and badger was pulling out 2-3 chunks at a time and running down stairs with them and eatting them lol. man wolf and the pinkies though my god a bite and a half and it was gone it was funny to watch him watch him try and eat the head of the adult mouse i did put some ferretvite on it and he went to town on it. we are getting there though its awesome to see them eat the meat chunks and enjoy it also.
all the ferrets ate the turkey/chicken chunk soup up the bowl is gone its no more lol i have some chicken wings down for dinner so when they are thawed out i will cut one up in 3 chunks and see who eats on it and post that. and the adult mouse is gone fang ate it gone yea!!!! but will still change it up with pinkies, fuzzies and hoppers though have some chicken hearts and kidneys down now and will see how they will do on that. those should be thawed in 2 days
