Today i made the turkey soup with out the kibble and made it chucky and wolf, fang, clude, Doe were there eatting it and man wolf was going to town on it lol i am going to leave it in there cage while i go to work and my BF will take it out when he comes home so it will stay there for 4 hours that should be long enough and ok for it. and tomorrow when i get home i am going to give them liver/turkey soup and freeze the rest of the liver and take the package of chicken hearts out and see what they do with that. i did put kibble in the cage as i do when i go to work but just enough for the day about 3 bird food bowl scoops since i dont get off till 930 tonite. i hate this shift. and tomorrow wolf will get another pinkie and still feeding superworms and they all lick them but when they move they dont like it lol

Oh wow! So did ALL of your fuzzies eat some of the soupie?
You might want to work on making a beef, chicken, or pork soupy. Turkey is a pretty lean meat (and ferrets need a fairly high amount of fat) You could even offer a turkey soup but throw some beef or pork chunks in there (for extra fat).
Good luck!

Excellent! Thank you for posting pictures! So copy and paste this list below and tell me exactly what each fuzzy is currently eating (include if they are eating kibble, if they are eating soup, if they are eating chicken chunks, and if so how big, if they are eating organ meat, if they are eating prey, if they are eating chicken wings, etc. Let me know every last thing that is going into each fuzzy's mouth): Doe: Clude: Oso: Fang: Wolf: Ollie: Kat: Badger: Has anyone begun to eat bones yet? If not, then I think its time to offer your kids a raw chicken wing. Cut gashes into the wing (so they can learn to get a grip on the meat) and watch closely to see who eats it and who doesnt. I am happy to see that things are going smoothly. I look forward to working with you more to get your babies totally switched!

Doe: superworms, crickets turkey soup, licked chicken, kibble Clude: turkey soup little piece chicken, kibble Oso:turkey soup tiny piece chicken, kibble Fang:superworms, crickets, pinkies, fuzzies, hoppers turkey soup chicken chunks, kibble Wolf:superworms, pinkies, chicken chunks. kibble Ollie:turkey soup, kibble Kat:turkey soup licked cricket, kibble Badger:turkey soup, chicken chunks, superworms, crickets, fuzzies, hoppers kibble
hope that helps you out what i do is only leave enough kibble in there feeder while i'm at work and over nite but when at home they have all raw in there cage/playpen and they seem to really go after the soup i make it less watery so they have to eat the chunks and there is no kibble in it there hasnt been for a week. i will let them have a chicken wing i also have chicken backs in the freezer now what beef should i try or pork now?

Excellent! Backs might take some practice (to learn how to eat) but wings are a good plan. What I would do is this: before you offer wings gradually increase the size of the chunks for Clude, Oso, Fang, Wolf, and Badger. Get them eating a full chicken breast, or atleast HALF a breast. Then you can take a chicken wing. Break it into 3 segments (at the joints) and offer that. They may/may not eat it right away. As for Doe, Ollie, and Kat continue to work on getting them on to chunks. You can offer all the babies beef and pork as added food enrichment, what I would do is turn it into soup (to make the soup fattier). Work with Fang, Wolf, and Badger on eating larger mice. Your goal should be to get them on to adult mice (with pinkies and fuzzies and hoppers thrown in occasionally, but the majority of the mice you feed being adults.) Thanks for filling me in on each of the kids. It REALLY helped me get a clearer picture of who is eating what Keep working (you are doing great!) and if you could post your updates from now on like you did above (where you write your babies name and then say what they are doing) that would rock (it would help me keep everyone straight so I can spot potential problems and offer suggestions better

Doe: Turkey/chicken chunk soup , kibble Clude:Turkey/chicken chunk soup ,kibble Oso: Turkey/ chicken chunck soup, kibble Fang: Turkey/ chicken chunk soup, kibble, adult mouse (half of it) Wolf: Turkey/chicken chunk soup, kibble, 2 pinkies, adult mouse (head and neck) Ollie: Turkey/ chicken chunk soup, kibble Kat:Little Turkey/ chicken chunk soup, kibble Badger: Turkey/ chicken chunk soup, kibble adult mouse (some of the shoulders and body)
They were all doing very good on the soup today even pulling some of the chunks out i cut them into small pieces though so they would just get a little bite of it and badger was pulling out 2-3 chunks at a time and running down stairs with them and eatting them lol. man wolf and the pinkies though my god a bite and a half and it was gone it was funny to watch him watch him try and eat the head of the adult mouse i did put some ferretvite on it and he went to town on it. we are getting there though its awesome to see them eat the meat chunks and enjoy it also.
