I'm hoping Kat has some interest in the lamb....make sure you get her to taste the lamb - some ferret find raw chicken to be a bit bland , especially if it is muscle meat only . y kids don'r care much for chicken breast meat. The dark meat has more fats and nutrients (a lot more taurine)., so it is a healthier optin than breast meat as well.

The chicken backs have less meat/more bone,so you may want to ad a little extra meat with the backs. aguili had a dog get constipated from too much bone....other than an obstruction, 'm not sure the words ferret and constipation have ever ben used in the same sentence . If you save turkey parts from from hunting, you'll want to freeze them very cold and very solid for at least 3 weeks before feeding - it kills parasites. In fact, I recommend posting a question on this forum and also the naturalferrets.com forum about what you may want to do before feeding wild game. I've never done this, so I'm no expert here. YAY!!! Vacation!!! I've never been hunting, but I've shot up a few beer cans sitting around the campfire!!! Great fun! Enjoy yourself! -jennifer

You will be very busy! I hope the kids like the chicken back...they're soft bone. I'm not sure my kids would have ever eaten bone without getting the softer bone first. If you're feeding meat along side the chicken back, offer the boey meats first since - otherwise, they may fill up on the boneless meat first and lose interest in eating the bones!!!

This is great news. Keep working on Kat. You may want to smash some kibble crumbs into some tiny pieces of meat. The meat will need to be very small pieces for it acts more like a almost like a paste that helps hold the crumbs together. You need to press the crumbs into the meat. try putting a few of these kibble crumb "meatballs" in a small bowl with a few pieces of kibble. she may try one. (These meatballs need to be fairly dry on the outside, so you'll need to press those crumbs in pretty hard.)
I hope you aced your test!!! -jennifer

YAY!!! Great work on your test!!!! WoooHooooo!!!! Dog traing will be FUN!!!! Think of all the cute puppies that come in for training I'm a sucker for animals Just keep working on Kat with the met on her tongue - don't be afraid to offer different meats/organs, etc. Th persistence pays off, and some of the pickiest kids turn into the biggest meat eaters! Have fun! -jennifer

If you can afford it, you may want to try freeze-dried raw complete diet with Kat (Wysong Archetypal I, Stella & CHewy's steaks, AFS, sor Ziwipeak daily cat diet). The freeze-dried stuff can be crumbled into the kibble . Kat won't be able to avoid all the freeze-dried meat.
How filled out i Kat??? WOuld it hurt to have her miss a meal? We may have to let her get a little hungry to helpentice her to accept the raw stuff. Let me know if letting Kat get hungry is an OK thing to do (i.e., she's healthy and is a a good weight right now.)

Oh my, this is not a good thing. Let her eat what she wants. I have to run right now, but I'll post more today....I want to re-review your profile and all the posts of behaviors (especially any subtle clues) and info., which we'll want to be on top of moving forward. Please let us know how she's doing.

OK, I reviewed everything....nothing significant pops out - I posted some questions for you on your medical thread for Kat. I'm very concerned about Kat going limp, please review those questions and get back to me with some answers. I'n the meantime, allow Kat to have access to the food she wants to eat. -jennifer
