I'm your mentor, my name is Maria. I own 3 fuzzies Weezer, Lillian and Ravi. Weezer and Ravi are marked dark eyed whites and Lillian is albino. I got Weezer October 8th '07, Lillian on November 24th '07 and we just got Ravi 3 months ago. I started trying to get Weezer to eat raw right away but also fed kibble for a couple months. Lillian and Ravi took right to raw but Weezer was much harder to switch. They eat all raw with the exception of kibble once in the blue moon.
I bet it is pretty hard switching so many ferrets at once, one wants to eat RMB's, one wants ground and everyone else is in between. That will make the switch more frustrating for you.
Rufus may be hooked on turkey, it does taste and smell different then chicken. He probably just prefers it, we will need to try and get him back to chicken as turkey won't be suitable in the long run. The bones aren't very edible. You might try weaning him off of it by mixing in a tiny bit of ground chicken and work your way up until you've got more mixed in, then phase out the turkey.
To make everything a bit more balanced for everyone right now you can sprinkle a bit of egg shell powder over everything.
Ozzy is fine on raw meaty bones for the time being as long as you can supply him with them, ferrets can do fine with bone every day. You could try cutting a pinkie open though since they were his favorite before the whole kibble ordeal.
Tino, What RMB's are you using currently? It is possible that with a tiny bit of work we can get him onto eating the bones too.
Molly, Spunky, Ferret Bueller, You can try increasing the size of the chunks if you haven't already. I had to take the process very slowly with my Weezer but he will now happily eat off a 1/2lb rabbit saddle.
Fionna, so she will not accept any chunks? Since the soup is already based on meat just add a very small amount of ground and mix it in very well. That will hopefully get her started again.
Can your blender handle bones? If so, to get your ferrets used to the marrow flavor of bones you can add a chicken wing or other small bone to the soup. That will give them the flavor and smell of it, so when you try and introduce them to RMBs they will recognize it.
