Thanks to all the mentors who jumped in!
So now, not only is she eating chicken but she's also eating bones! She hasn't been very stubborn about the switch, we just had to find the right methods.

I think she is stubborn...haha
To think I was ready to give up on her. I guess she needed more time and I needed people to tell me to keep going.
So for now, chicken wings. When should I make changes? I have chicken drums, game hen, and chicken organs in the freezer.
Btw, Thank you Maria for sticking with me and making me go on.

Your very welcome, I'm glad you didn't give up. Sometimes we all need a little push.
Do wings for a week then try a drum and organ, then you can try the game hen again.

Night 3 is good. Wings are still a big hit.
The plus side is Mouse is using her food den (a very small dog carrier) now. Before I had to help her figure it out, but now Mouse drags her own meat into it for eating. She has not used the litter box to stash her food in at least a week or two now. This is very good... I never knew about a stash box before this. Wish I did...
Today will be night 4 chicken wings.

The feeding dens also make clean up much easier. If your in a hurry you don't have to worry about washing bedding and stuff, just spray the box with some vinegar or peroxide.
Graduation is very close!!

Night 6 tonight. Wings are still doing well. It is funny watching Mouse move it around trying to stash it. Sometimes she tries to hide it on top of the plastic kennel food den then she goes inside and wonders why there is food on her roof through the top bars... HAHA

Okay, Mouse has had a week of wings. She is still crunching her bones nicely. What should I try next?
Thigh bones? Those seem to be the next boney meat I can think of. I haven't tried those in months (maybe more than half a year?). She has had chicken drum with NO success on eating those bones. I think there was one day she got organs and she ate those I think. Or go wings with organs?
She has not had red meat in a whole week..haha

You can try thigh and organ... Or cornish game hen, which ever you want to try. Just some organ and something other then wings.

Okay. Last night I just did the last wing I had defrosted. Was going to feed that to Goofy, but she got something else instead.
I have some thighs with bones. I removed a lot of the meat so the bone will show. Tonight I will give her one of those and make 2 cuts on the bone so the marrow shows. If she takes that tonight, I will give her a cube of organs tomorrow with another thigh.
I need to stock up again on more game hens. Maybe that should be next after thigh bones. Drums last? Or can I just not bother with drums since she really didn't go for it last time...?

As long as she does good with thighs there is really no need to feed legs.. I mean, if you find a good deal on them or something then you could try but there is no need to go out of your way to get them. The main thing would be getting dark meat, but thighs are also dark meat.

Well, it seems she eats thighs up no problem. Organs and thighs are on tonight's menu.

She likes chicken organs (liver, gizzard, and heart) just fine. She eats that before the thigh. It seems she has a harder time with some bone parts. I think this might be the cause of her not really eating drum bones. When I cut the bone, she seems to do better... so for her this is what I will do.
I guess back in the day with Jack, Mouse would eat the meat first then when Jack works the bones, she partakes as well when the big parts are taken off.
I think game hen would be better bone for her as long as I remove a lot of the meat. She would stuff her self on meat if I don't remove some since she doesn't eat much at all. This has been a good learning experience to know her particulars. So for a few nights more I will stay on thigh, then move on to game hen. In another few days I will offer organs again.

You will want to feed chicken bones too, since CGH's aren't full grown they aren't as high in calcium.
It's nice to hear she's going so well.

Well Mouse is having no problems with chicken thighs. I have a game hen I just put to thaw out. She eats organs before other meats. I think she sometimes has problems with thicker parts of the bones, but she is doing much better.
What else is left after trying game hen?

If you can post a weekly feeding schedule showing a balanced week with at least 3 meat sources (chicken, CGH and Turkey each count separately), a fair amount of bone and organ then you can graduate.. So once your able to incorporate everything into a week you'll be set You can include any 3 meats in the week, venison, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, CGH... Or even a mouse if you're bave
