Hi Pear, I'm brining extra money, so I can buy the foods from you. I don't want Apple eating chicken since it destroys his tummy  , and you'll need a little extra coin to get him situated on new foods.Just let me know what you have and what it cost you. I can bring some stuff that Apple can eat as well. The local stores here carry a lot of good freeze-dried stuff. OK everyone, I plan on being at Buckeye Bash around 10am, right when it opens. Is there any chance that it opens earlier??
I have a conflict with another event and it is causing some issues. I may only be there about 2 hours. 10-1230pm or so.
Will I be able to see everyone in that time?? I hope all the vendors are ready for me, I have some shopping to do!

My mom and I will be there but we can't leave here until 9:30. It is a 2-2 1/2 hour drive so we won't get there until 11:30-12:00.

The Bash is almost here!!!!  For those of you who are going, look for me and please introduce yourselves... I will be wearing a brightly colored tie-dyed T-shirt with a large multi-colored swirl on it. Jeans of course. My hair is mousey-brown and distinctively frizzy - and I have a "blaze". (It looks kind of like shiney hair in my picture - but it's really a gray streak ) And - I could stand to lose a few ponds (quite a few! ) SO please don't be shy, I'd love to meet everyone!!! Also, try to catch one of Bob Church's presentations (I think he's doing his enrichment thing this time??? not sure) Bob is alway very informative - plus he's a regular comedy show - you will NOT be bored!!! I saw so many HUGE ferrets! I held a big one, this really friendly lady talked to us and let me hold her big guy who gave me kisses!! Aparently he's a lick lick chomp, because she stopped him right away!! LOL
But wow, the dark ferrets were gorgeous and I stopped by Scarlett's Happy Dookers, her 4month old kits, all males, HUGE! I couldn't believe they were so big and yet so young! Now I REALLY want a breeder ferret! But I want a dark one. Sigh....a few years away!

aww too bad i could'nt have met some of you members, I just now seen this post, have been away for a while, been very busy and had'nt been able to get online as much. I attended the buckeye bash showing 2 of my ferrets. Dancer took home 4 great ranked ribbons! placing in top 5's, even getting a second place. My girl got 8th for chocolate, and second place for tiniest ferret. AT the show i also picked up my new hob, woo hoo! |
