Guili will be at the Buckeye Bash with a table for the Holistic Ferret Website & forum!!! Pingford is hoping to be there with a table too. I will be attending as a spectator with and empty backpack (upon arrival!) and a fistful of dollars The Bash is the largest ferret show on the planet!!! Lots of vendors, lots of ferrets, lots of FUN!! If you live close by, definitely go - if you have to come from another state, save your money and make sure you do it at least once in your lifetime!!! Here's the info.... www.scarletts-happydookers.com/fbb08.html-jennifer

I'm about 95% positive I will be there, and about 60% on taking my ferret, Apple with me. If I can get him to be calm and sit on my shoulder or let me hold him when company is around, then he will come. Otherwise, I will be in major need of a carrier so he doesn't scratch and wiggle til he's on the ground!
But I am really excited, its only 1 hour from me and I am already planning the trip! I guess I could bring a backpack, and if needed put Apple in there to sleep while I walk around. He does it all the time now, but I'm not wearing it...we'll see!

Hubby and I are talking about going and making a weekend of it. Get away from the kids and stuff. It will be our first show, and no we are not taking anyone. Its about a 8 hour drive (i think) will have it figured out by the end of the month.

I don't think you're allowed to bring ferrets in unless you are showing them in the competitions. And they require ADV and CD certificates prior to the event, and within a certain time frame.

I was told I could bring my ferret as long as his shots were up to date, and they are. He just got them last month. I think I will email the coordinator and find out.
