I found two sites, one sells rattle snake meat (too expensive to spend on a furry) and exotic meats like frogs legs etc. and another sells ostrich eggs and meat but I know of an ostrich farm near here. Would it be ok for them to try a little of the bird meat or eggs once they get off kibble for variety if I ever decided to try it? Is reptile/anphibian meat ok to give if I ever had the extra cash? I looked at the live frogs on other sites that offered them as feeders but I don't think I could do it. www.unitedstatesostrich.com/products.htm#fresheggs

I'd avoid rattlesnake.
Ostrich is fine and frogs are fine. The european polecat (ferret's closest wild relative) DOES eat small lizards and amphibians seasonally, so adding frog legs (or whole frogs) to the diet would be a good thing. Just dont make them the BULK of the diet, and be sure that they ARE feeders and are in no way toxic.
ALWAYS avoid skinks, which I believe are toxic to dogs/cats/ferrets.
