Well to help keep my mind of Tigger some and to finally use the sewing machine that hubby bought for me I went to walmart today and bought $50 worth of fabric and fleece. I am going to try to make my own hammocks and shelf covers. Hopefully i will not sew my fingers to the fabric I will take pics of my results no matter how disfigured they maybe.

:DWell, if that doesn't work for you, you can always try making a no sew set with the fleece. I have made two, and my guys love it! Plus, I got to keep all my fingers! That is always a good thing! Yay fingers!!!

Do you have a Jo-ann fabrics near you? You'd be surprized how cheap the clearance stuff is there, they've got sections for $1 fabric all the way up to $10 fabric but like twice a year they have a sale for 50% off of those prices. 75% of the $2 to $4 a yard stuff is flannle and even a bit of fleece too. Right now they've also got free shipping on their website on orders over $25

My poor sewing machine is gathering dust. I should probably put something together. Can't wait to see pics of yours. I am sure I have flames fabric hanging around here somewhere. And I have fleece pants that would make good ramp covers. Thanks for the motivation!

Ohhh Jasmine I think I am going to copy the dragon idea off of you next bedding set I order!!!! I have loved dragon's basically my whole life and found out a few years ago I was actually born in the year of the dragon so it all makes sense to me. I would love to see how everything of yours turns out!!! and hope Tigger is gonna be OK.

Giuli you'll get some when i am not to embarrassed for others to see it. . I havent made anything in like 10 years . Ok here are some of my first efforts. I made a sleeping bag that attches to the cage, a hammock, and a free floating sleeping bag for each level but the food level. Here is what it looks like. And i am right now making the shelf covers. it is the matching fabric sewn on to the fleece which is tied to the botton of the self (i did not make the ramp covers) Next on my list is a huge cube (started it) and the shelf covers for the bottoms of the cages. I found a pattern for a really cute shoe bed but im not thre yet. But patting myself on my back each piece is looking better then the one before it.
