If something were to be in the Michigan area, I would definitely join in. I cant travel far because A. I don't have the money, and B. I don't have a very safe car for long distance travels. I definitely like this idea, though. I never can find any kind of shows in Michigan, and I'd love to go to something ferret related, especially if I can help out! Hales Where in mich? =D I'm in the lansing st johns dewitt owosso laingsburg area (actually in laingsburg but work in lansing and dewitt 15 minutes from st johns and my best friend is in owosso.)

Well here was what I was thinking. Maybe not a ferret show that WE put on, BUT..... Starting in August I will be attending ferret shows across the US to promote the HF website and forum and teach about natural feeding. It would be wonderful to have assistance with working these events. If anyone from the HF would be interested in coming to a ferret show and assisting me I would really appreciate it I need to work a few things out but I could post a list of upcoming ferret shows (and which ones I can and cant attend). Members could sign up for shows and help me present to people about natural feeding (The more help I get the better!) Guili, If/when you make it to Washington State, up here in the NW, let me know!I would love to be a part of that! =)

I'm up for anything in the country of Texas Seriously though, it takes 8 hours to get out of Texas to the North, 10 to the West, but I could be up for Louisiana. Unfortunately, all the ferret events tend to be up north (and all the cool dog events too).

Seriously though, it takes 8 hours to get out of Texas to the North, 10 to the WestI didn't realize there were any routes out of Texas! I thought it was like Jersey, you can get in but you can never leave! I'm in New Orleans and there are no ferret events around here that I have been able to find; so the kids and I would be open to anything in the region.

I just had an idea!!! I work for my college and I know that last spring my service frat reserved the gym for FREE for an event.... I bet I could reserve our gym for free, we could charge a small door fee, and donate proceeds to shelters. I go to Concord University an Athens, WV right on the border of western VA, north easter TN, and northern NC. With lots of planning I'm sure we could do something i spring or summer of next year with little cost
