Today I am resigning from my job in order to start a new one with better pay. I have been working for this company and at this nursing home for 4 1/2 years, so this is going to be difficult. I will be starting my new job Aug. 12. I'll be getting my 40 hours a week again...and my husband is going to quit his job. Right now we both work. As soon as I come home, he goes to work, and it creates chaos in my house with my 4 kids. We need a little bit more stability, at least until all my kids are in school...and then my husband can get another job.
I hate resigning....I am nervous and excited at the same time. Wish me luck!!!

Good Luck!! I know how much jobs can wreak havoc in homes! Just think of how much better everything will be in the long run!!  |

Good luck-- i know how that work sechulde can be on the family that was ours when he came home i was leaving and finally we worked it out so i could stop working

Ok, so this has been a busy week for me. I resigned from my job last week, and on Monday my current employer offered me better pay. I accepted (naturally), only to have my future employer counter offer with something better. To this, I countered with an even better offer, and this afternoon my future employer agreed to my terms. Soooo, I had to re-instate my original resignation of last week. I am going to be doing much better financially soon, but with the sacrafice of longer work hours and less time with family. But the good news is, my husband can now quit his job leaving both of us at home at night instead of him running out to work as soon as I get home. Too much chaos with my kids!
I guess this was a good birthday present for me!

Well, today was my last day of work at a job I had been at for 4 and a half years. I am going to miss many of the patients I have worked with, as well as some of the staff. I'm just not in a real chipper mood tonight.  |
