What do I do with them? Somebody gave me a turkey, 2 venison and a HUGE stag. I have gutted them but like...what now? lol. I really have no idea how to cut them up for the ferts, so far the only thing I have done is gutted them, cleaned and sawn odd hooves and antlers (in memory of the venison and stag, these antlers will go on my wall in my bedroom! ;] ) oh and yeah..another thing, I can pretty much cut them up however as I treated myself to a proper slaughter houses slaughter set Thanks for any replies .

Antlers make good chewies, too, specially if you have dogs!
Google "how to butcher _____" and I'm sure you can find instructions!!

I'll tell you what to do. You can pack them on some dry ice and get them shipped here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But, if your not willing to do that.. Look on Youtube. They have Tons of video's of people hacking up deer and such.

I take a really good hack saw and cut the neck into slices then run the saw down right against the spine to sererate the slabs of ribs from it, then I run a nice sharp knife between the ribs to seperate them from each other. The "arms" are easy to cut off, before you do the ribs just take a knife and cut from the "arm pit" in and pop it out of the socket. Do the same with the legs, pop them out of the pelvis. After that you'll just have a spine with a pelvis at the end. Cut that into sections.
The ferrets probably won't be able to eat any of the bones, they MIGHT be able to eat the ribs but that's about it. But there is no reason you can't let then rip the meat off or the bone.
Freeze it for at least a month before you feed them any, wild animal meats can be full of parasites.

if u need more help and pixs let me know i can you a site that i am a MOD on and my guys can help u its a archery site also tss is so right on that there is another wat to do it where u dont even have to cut open the guts if u didnt want to i do have Q? for u on these deer though ok 1. what state are u in? 2. you didnt cut the spine or the cord did you? 3. you didnt cut open the brain? 4. or cut the guts when u gutted it?
the reason why i cam asking is in some states and i say in some states there is CWD in deer and if you happen to cut the spine or the cord or the brain the meat is no good. so u might want to look into this with your local Game & Fish dept just a heads up dont freak out about it game meat is the safest meat out there we eat it all the time here we dont have CWD here yet
