Welcome aboard! What kind of diet do you currently feed your ferrets, and what type of natural diet are you looking to put your ferrets on? We are here to assist you with any questions you may have. I hope you enjoy yourself well they are mainly on kibble but they are used to soupies everyday. i'd really like to get them into raw..i tried a mouse and monkey ate the tail but just wanted to stash the rest and not eat it. baby bear smelled it and ran away and acted like i was poisoning him when i tried to get him to eat it. i've put chicken hearts in their soup (cooked) just to get em used to new things. monkey's not my picky one..baby bear is a nightmare getting him to try new things. i'd eventually like to at least feed raw chicken hearts as a treat and go from there. i'm kind of "winging it". so at least they like the hearts now cooked..now if only i could get them to eat them raw without just stashing them then running back and looking at me like "okay, now where's the good stuff?". i'm interested in natural but taking it very slow because of baby bear's pickiness. hoping it's okay i joined though they are not totally switched yet?

No we have to kick you out because you arent totally switched lol just kidding! Everyone is welcome here, no matter what they feed. Why dont you post about your babies diet over in the nutrition section. You can get lots of good advice about how to get them to try new foods Many of our members have delt with super stubborn babies. There is even a special switching method for the super picky. I havent seen if fail, so its worth a shot (and its a slow switch method. I think you and your babies would do well with it )
