Is she actually chewing on it? Or what, exactly. And what is she getting in it?

Use metal bowls.....that's what I do for Yuri who also would rather chew the plastic bowls than eat what's inside of the bowls. Someone on another list mentioned that some plastics have a protein in them and it attracts some cats and causes them to chew the plastic. They use the same plastic in milk bags too. Not the plastic bags that actually has the milk in them but the outer plastic. If it affects cats this way, then it might also affect ferrets. It doesn't affect all cats just some, the percentage is low so many would never see it happen but the ones that are affected can create serious problems for themselves as obviously if they do consume the plastic it will become a blockage ciao

What a little devil! That snapping noise is likely why she does it. Yeah, the metal, or a ceramic dish would be best

Switch to metal or ceramic --- the T-ware is kind of chewy. My brats might chew on that too. If you can feed raw cartilage (like that long piece that extends off the chicken breast), it might satisfy the need to chew

my girl is weird like that too. if i'm trying to train her outside of the cage for litter boxes she'll gnaw on the side of it. i just think she's a stubborn brat and won't go. of course when i put her in the cage she'll go. ugh. but it's only for the litter box out side the cage.
metal/ceramic sounds best.

I use the small metal bowls that are made for toy breed dogs.
