Awww, he is always such a good-looking boy. I just want to grab him up and kiss him.

That is fantastic. He's putting on his summer clothes. He's going to have a wonderful mask. It will be interesting to see if he removes his mask next fall ciao

I love watching the coat/colour changes from season to season. Personally, I've found the first real shed is frequently the most dramatic. But not always

So generally speaking the colors they get in their first shed are the colors they'll stay? Even silvers? Or do they get progressively lighter each shed?

My marked DEW's lost their colours first season for the most part. My silver, however(got him at age 2), didn't start getting lighter til this winter, at the age of almost 4! Most silvers will eventually roan out to DEW or marked DEW

Very cute. Paulie is that color (and showing me this winter, he is still that color, with a little yellow oil to spice it up, haha). He gets his mask for summer and looses it for winter. It is so funny to watch the colors change!
