hello all. Im new here and from the uk. im looking for advice on boy ferret!! Ive kept girls before. last year I rekindled my love of the weasels and rescued 5. two brothers. one older male and two sisters. girls and single boy live alone. the 2 brothers together. it appears that the boys are getting aggressive with each other. is neutering the only option? if yes will they calm down with the fighting? thanks

Hi, and welcome It's the time of year for the unaltered boys to be coming into rut, which means they'll have to be separated, or they'll hurt each other. You can also check into a deslorelin implant for them, although it's not certain yet how it affects their later breeding capabilities. But if you aren't planning on breeding anyway, it should work well! As for the neutering calming them down, yes it should, once they realize they are no longer intact.
