Last night I was giving Kahlua some soup (Mojito was next in line) and Tequila jumped up on the coffee table (i think he wanted to play with Kahlua, he may have wanted the soup but he usually picks her over food) and bumped/pushed/slid right into her pushing her face/chin into the soup. This means bathtime.
I bathed her and then started bathing Mojito- as I am bathing him the water turned copper so I took him out (freaking out of course) but it wasn't like blood color, but like.. when u have a new house and the pipes havent been "started off" properly color. I finished washing him with bottled water, he kept wanting to lick himself and so the bottled water was cold because I was trying to do it quickly because I was afraid some of whatever was in the water had gotten on him. I called the emergancy maitnance and while I was waiting Kahlua curled up into my lap and was licking me while I scratched her damp back. I got some super cuddle time, she would go between licking me and grooming herself but if I stopped scratching her back she'd stop either one and give me a dirty look.
Maitnence got there and couldnt find any issue with the water, he turned it on and it was running fine (clear), he filled up the tub and tested the levels and they were fine. My fiancee thinks I finally poped my cork, but I SWEAR it was orangie-copper coming from the fausit. I called my friend who lives up stairs (when it happened i could hear that she was running water too) but she said she had no crazy colored water. I swear I am not crazy!
After that, Mojito wouldnt eat his soup- i think he was mad at me for the cold bath and since he only eats it hand fed style being mad at me is a problem. He ran off and hid and it took me from 12 midnight till 230 am to find him.. Then I went to sleep.
I didnt realize he had gotten into my bedroom apparently at some point while he was out but he must've because I woke up this morning- unsuspectingly slung my feet into my slippers only to step in a giant pile of you know what. Not big enough for Tequila and Kahlua was with me all night so it had to have been Mojito. Good morning mom, lol
