Hi my name is Russ and I'm a new member. I love the little critters and had one as a child.
Now I'm 30 and just got myself a female.... well, actually a year ago. I'm trying desperately to get her on raw diet but it hasn't worked yet. The two dogs are on it and so is the cat.

Hi and welcome on board, Russ Please take a prowl around the nutritional section and see if you can get some hints as to what might help you make the switch for your little one. They are not the most cooperative little sods, but with a bit of ingenuity and a lot of percerverance it's doable. Feel free to ask questions, check out the various threads, apply for a mentor, start your own raw switching thread in the newbie section and ask for assistance from the rest of the forum. Everyone's friendly and there's a lot of knowledge here. I hope that I will be seeing you around and please, we love photos of your little one ciao

Thanks,
Ya, I found your mentor program and just signed up for it. Been trying to do the picture thing but can't seem to figure out how on this forum (I'm slightly computer-illiterate)

Welcome!
The method I prefer for pictures is to make a Photobucket account and upload your pictures there. Then just copy paste the IMG code directly into your post.
Don't worry about having trouble with your switching your fuzzy. They can be stubborn but any ferret can be switched with persistence and the mentor program is a great way to get one-on-one help with all your questions and concerns along the way. And feel free to ask any questions you'd like outside your mentor thread. Everyone is friendly and helpful and no question is considered silly.

Welcome to the forum! Seems like everyone else has already steered you in the right direction for your fuzzy, namely the mentoring threads (they are SO interesting to just read through, by the way). You'll find everyone here is very friendly and respectful - and we love seeing pictures of ferrets!!!!
