Hey all. I am thinking about enriching my kids lives by providing something other than my walls and fn to climb... Does anyone have any home made trees that have worked, or their own store bought ones that the ferrets can scale safely. I know my kids are little monkeys.

Good question! I've seen a few pics ideas, but none that work in my space. I would LOVE to see some other ideas as well. I'm not creative enough to come up with it on my own.

This is the one I got for my fuzz They were having some trouble climbing up so I added that tube. They chewed holes in it to make stops along the way where they can get out so I used a lighter so seal off the plastic so it wouldn't keep tearing.

That website is AWESOME. I'm going to have a ball thinking on how to make these guys a awesome tower. Shoot I could spend 50-60 bucks on wood and carpet. A few hrs of time. And build them something super awesome that I could buy at a store for...200-300 bucks.

My tree was only $100 with free shipping so I was pretty happy. I suck at making my own stuff so I've pretty much stopped trying

Yea I do You can buy them online for like $100, but we bought materials for $75 and had enough stuff to make 2 (The 50ft of tubing was $50 on amazon and we use 25ft for each tower). They LOVE it. They all go up to the top and slide down it. If you are interested I can tell you how we made it, well how my boyfriend made it... it was really easy.

I am pretty sure they sell 20ft of the clear tubing now for ferrets for about $20, sooo you could make it a little cheaper... I think it is pretty much 1$/ft wherever you go. It seems expensive, but I know those carpet ones get pricey too.

Nice tree! Looks like they have a blast with that.
You can also get the 20 feet of tubing from ferret.com for $15. You have to pay shipping though so I got mine on Amazon for $20 but free shipping.
