oh yeah! They have carpets out now geared towards pre-schools and daycare centers that you can use bleach on with out any problems! I have bathroom rugs made out of those that I use for cage mats! (No rubber backing all fabric)

Whatever I bought last sucks so bad!! After I clean up the mess it leaves the carpet kinda of hardened if that makes sense? It may be the residue... I need to try something new! Our carpets are beige berber. I saw the Bissel pet thing at the store but cannot afford it right now. I may try Nature's Miracle.

That would be the residue from the shampoo you are using. You might have to go over it again with clear water.

It is just pet stain remover... how annoying! But Nature's Miracle does not do this?

It is just pet stain remover... how annoying! But Nature's Miracle does not do this? It did on my carpet -- but I believe some of the others it didn't do that for them, so maybe its just my carpet?? It isn't very new or anything... maybe that's why That's why I stick to vinegar & water solution. When my grandma suggested it I thought ew gross... who likes the smell of vinegar but it really doesn't, and it worked for me.

www.vinegartips.com/scripts/pageViewSec.asp?id=7I foster dogs sometimes, and I've had some nasty accidents when they are sick, and it cleaned up well with vinegar and water and the carpet cleaner. Also, your gonna laugh but my roommate spilled that RED sweet and sour sauce ALL over the white carpet... it was horrible! We thought for sure we were gonna have to replace the carpet in the whole room... But I used hot water and vinegar in the carpet cleaner and it all came up... *huge sigh of relief*

Thanks for that! That is good to know, bc it will save me LOTS of money on cleaners! I have used apple cider vinegar as a conditioner before bc it is a natural humectant (spelling?) and it never left a smell...so I assume white vinegar wouldn't either bc it is more mild.
