hiya! I've been lurking for a little while now, and I figured it was about time I introduced myself. my name is Bree. I'm a long time ferret lover, but I currently don't own any. I used to have a pair, but they ended up staying with my ex. when I moved out I just couldn't have them at my mother's house. she doesn't like them, and wanted to keep them outside if I brought them. so my ex kept them and says he's spoiling them. I certain hope so. I miss them every single day! I got them off Craigslist from a woman who rescued them from a man who never cleaned their cage and never let them out. they are surprisingly loving and have never, ever bit me. I always wanted to start them on raw, but didn't get the chance before I had to give them up. the brown one is Rocky, and the white one is Banshee. I plan on eventually buying/adopting/rescuing another fuzzy (or two) in the future, and they will be fed raw from the moment they get to my house. ummm what else? I have two dogs, who are not yet fed raw because I don't currently have the option. however, as soon as I move out of my mom's house again (June!) they will be switched over! I guess that's it!

Welcome! Those are sweet looking furbabies. I am sorry that you couldn't take them with you when you and your ex broke up, but at least he is taking good care of them and they are safe. Anyway, feel free to ask questions; this is a really friendly place!

Hi and welcome Bree Your little ones are adorable. I'm sorry that you couldn't take them with you. Please feel free to prowl, read through various threads. You've mentioned an interest in diet, might I direct you to the nutritional threads where you might find starting your research. Check out the various sections, see the different methods that people have used to get their little ones eating a more natural diet. Everyone's friendly so don't feel shy about jumping in and getting involved in the discussions. It's all about the learning experience here. ciao

Hi Candice!! Heather, I've done quite a bit of research on feeding raw already (in fact, I got Candice into it! ), but I definitely don't know everything and plan on hitting up the nutritional threads.
