A wights ferret in the snow:) . Opinion, since ferrets magically freeze fast, first time ferret been out side in the snow, might get carried away and lost. I wonder if I should ask about ferret proofing the out side, got alot of hate messages last time i tried that and people put words in my fingers. But I don't think I tried that on this forum yet:) you know, a ferret door and letting then play in the back yard unable to get out and run away? Any way, 1 way people like to let ferrets try snow is bring it inside, gives them a better chance to decide they like it with out a bad experience and no 2cont chances.

My guys have an enclosed play area that they can go out and play in. You can't just let a ferret out they get lost ciao

Some do, some don't I've got a few who immediately start excavating, and others who quite literally climb me to get away from that cold stuff

That's for sure! Izzy loved the snow, but Murtagh didn't like it at all!

We introduces our ferrets to snow just a few days ago. We can't take them outside here, as we live in an apartment and there are lots of large dogs near us, so we took a big cat litter pan and piled snow in it and placed it in the tub.
Daddy did a no-no and tossed Booth on top of it and he pooped. Poor baby.
So we got fresh snow and after scolded the bf, Booth made his way onto the snow on his own.
Reactions:
Booth: Whatever, it's cold. Let me out. Bonkers: Ooooh! Dig time! Lincoln: *buries nose in snow immediately* I never want to leave!
I'll get pics next time it snows.
