Hello all My name is Megan but you can just call me The LittleFerretOwner. I don't own a ferret just yet, but hope to get one before the end of this year I hope to feed her raw whole prey... If that's what it is called.... I hope to meet nice people that can help me with my, I guess you can call it a journey, of having a ferret that eats whole prey. I really don't know what else to say, so bye bye for now.

Thank you all!!! I've been doing lots of research on Ferrets so I hope to be prepared when I finally do get one. I'm hoping to get a little female Gotta say, I have two boys and two girls (for 2 years it was 2 girls and 1 boy, ), and I love all of them (my boys are goofballs and cuddly things, LOL, what's not to love), but my girls are simply amazing and have me completely smitten Plus, they tend to smarten up the boys - that's why generally I like having more girls than boys in the business ...but that's just my experience

I have heard females are more hyperactive then males tend to be which is a reason I want to get a female.

haha, yeah - in my experience, girls tend to *plot* and execute scarily thought out plans. Also, my Pixie tends to be a teacher as much as a leader, where it regards "her" business. She's not bossy, but she pays attention and will hit them where it hurts (with Yogi, back when he was a kit, she'd just pretend to ignore him if he did something she didn't like. He could be right in front of her and she'd stare straight through him. By that time, he was infatuated with her and it nearly killed him whenever she'd do it, and he'd drag along behind her heartbroken until he made amends. You can bet he rarely pulled the ... *same* stunt again) I certainly see a difference between the sexes, and it makes for interesting dynamics, I'll say (everyone should have at least one lil girl in their business, that's my motto LOL)
