The girls had a blast playing in the front yard this morning. I got many strange looks from passing cars (looks which I am oh too familiar with ) So, here we go Trixie with a dirt covered nose and her tongue out! Posey Pixie Pixie with a poof tail "What's that sound Mom!" Another cute Pixie pic "Red is sooo my color" Pixie and Trixie together in the dig box Finally Trixie decides to pose Pixie's hole Trixie's hole... Now for the videos... Trixie starting her hole... Look at that tail! Hole digging competition Trixie working on her hole some more

sooo cute! i took the two boys to the park where they have a nice sized pond with geese and picnic areas and it was sooooo funny how many people stared at me!! I guess having 2 ferrets on leashes chasing ducks and geese is a little out of the ordinary lol. looks like ur girlies had a lot of fun

mjohn - Yes they did! Haha, most people were staring Trixie, because she was digging so quickly.
I bet that did look pretty odd, but I'm sure they enjoyed it!

someone asked me if they were cats actually... lol I should have just said yes. also pple always ask if they are tame... I mean, they are on leashes... and they walk well on leashes, so I mean I just don't understand that question. Wild animals would not walk on a leash lol

Haha, that is a pretty silly question. =p Sometimes people don't think things through. I did see something strange not too long ago. A guy in front of Walgreens had a pet squirrel... It just stayed on his shoulder like a parrot, no leash no collar. It would run around on his back and arms, and no matter how many people crowded around him, it would not run away or anything. Pretty weird

Oh, it looks like they had so much fun. Wonderful time had by both of them People do ask some really weird questions but I always answer because sometimes it leads to more intellegent questions....and sometimes people learn things. If I can prevent one ferret from going to a home that was considering them as a "cool" pet then I've done my job and if I can convince one ferret owner to "consider" raw for their ferret.... ciao

Those are cute, and boy, are those girls ever going to town on their respective holes In that last video, just by the way she digs and then stops, digs and stops, "I feel the need to dig(dig, dig, dig). (Stop) But I don't know why"

Thank you Katt. By the way, did you ever get that newsletter thing done ? yeah minus resizing the ridiculous images. The program has been glitchy ever since they "updated" it and now it freezes up when I put in, or do anything to, the images. *sigh*
