So I got vids of BOTH Pixie and Trixie eating some chunks out of the bowl on their own. I am so proud of both of them P.S. I apologize in advance for my dirty floor. Before this I was feeding a raw egg and I spilled some of it. Then the ferrets walked in to and made everything dirty Pixie first Then Trixie

Thanks everyone!
Mjohn-I just scrambled the egg and poured it on a plate. Thy haven't had egg in a long time so I wanted to see how they liked it.

Did they eat it? I tried boiled, but it didn't work out, they just flung it everywhere.

Yeah, they seemed to like it. Trixie liked it more than Pixie did (go figure ) Maybe try just cracking open a raw egg and scrambling the white and yellow so they are more or less homogenous egg soupy. I spoon fed it and it seemed to go over well.

Congratulations!!!! It's an amazing feeling when they FINALLY recognize this stuff as food all on their own

Congratulations....isn't great when they finally recognise that it's all food. I have some who really like egg and others that are ok with it. Napoleon who hoover a whole egg on his own...he's such a brat. So I have to be careful when feeding egg to make sure others get some too. You know when you're ferret has had too much egg when their poop is yellow ciao

Napoleon and food are synonomous.....the words are interchangeable That's why the boy is learning how to jog... Here is Napoleon...a 10 litre ferret trying to fit into a 5 litre watering can By the way, just before this pic was taken he had been in that watering can...ferrets are physics phenomena....ferrets appear to be a solid but truly are a liquid (I've never posted a video before I hope this works) ciao

Haha, what a cute porker that video is so funny. I would never believe he fit himself into that can. XD Ferrets don't apply to the laws of physics. They're too cute for then

OMG!! I can't believe he got himself in there either I had this horrible image in my mind while watching that, of him getting it stuck on his head, and running around banging into everything

If he hadn't come out of there, I would have never let him make an attempt at it while doing the video . The reason why the can was out there in the first place was because I couldn't pull him out, he had to come out on his own ciao
