It seems like Worlds Best is something to check out. I still have PLENTY of Marshall's left so I might stick with that or just mix the two to make the switch.
Just FYI for the Marshall's, I bought a 50 lb bag off Ferret.com which was a pretty good deal I think, since it was only $30 but maybe you might not be able to have it shipped outside the US...

Worlds best is really awesome. I don't know how much it costs in the U.S but here in Canada it can get pretty expensive... Luckily I work in a pet supply store and get discounts But its worth it, its the best.

Feline pine. It does turn to saw dust but I don't have alot of issues with tracking. I have plastic mats under most of the litter boxes and I sweep their room every couple of days.

Currently I use newspaper folded to kind of help protect the sides of the litterbox. I get tons for free from my mom. When I can afford it I use ExquisiCat® Recycled Paper Fragrance-Free Cat Litter www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3399918its 25 lbs for $10.99 or $9.99 with your petperks card.

I use World's Best and Swheat Scoop. WB has an odd smell when it when it gets wet, and SC doesn't scoop quite as well. Both work very well though, and I have recently just started to try mixing the two per someone's suggestion. So far it seems to work pretty well, though until I got a covered litter box (well, really a tupperware with a hole in it haha) I could still smell the odd WB smell a little. I also mix in some baking soda with each litter change. Makes a BIG difference. The great thing about them too is that they are flushable! Makes cleaning a breeze!

Definitely! I love being able to flush the stuff! Keeps the ferret room smelling nice.
I haven't noticed a smell with the wet litter, but I scoop daily (or the girls will refuse to use it) so that may be why. I also mix in the baking soda and I think it helps a TON with odor.

I also use the Swheat Scoop...thought about trying world's best but the swheat is about $6 cheaper per 40lb bag and I dont have any big complaints so I stick with it. They also put coupons in the bag, I think it's buy 10 or 12 and get one of the same size free, but a 40 lb bag lasts me 2+ months so it's taking a while to get the freebie. My cons with it are in the cat boxes their urine clumps so solidly to the bottom I've had to switch to a stainless steel scooper (not a problem with the little ferret puddles) and it does track...fortunately we have mostly hardwood and tile so it only takes me a couple minutes to sweep every few days and I just run the shop vac quick in the cage. My pros are I do love it for being scoopable without being harmful, it does work really well for containing odors, even with 7 (well...6 now) critters the big bag lasted a long time, and I noticed the ferts have better box habits with it...when I used pellets (yesterdays news and woodstove type) I think those rolled under their feet too much so they'd just use the corner next to the box instead.

I've been using Purina Secondnature dog litter for the past year or so, when I couldn't get wood stove pellets any more. The pellets are larger than the wood stove pellets, don't break down into sawdust, and seem to keep the odor down very well.
