after getting back I could tell that Koda had not forgiven me and I was very sad. I don't think he'd forgiven me for bringing in an intruder, or for leaving. When I got back, he and Kenai seem to have bonded well. Koda would not give me kisses (and has been far stingier with the kisses since Kenai cam home) . When Kenai arrived, Koda stopped playing all of our favorite games as much, stopped snuggling me as much, and stopped kissing me as much - but he Would still kiss me a little. Well, upon returning from my trip, he would not play with me very much other than a few games of chase, or kiss me AT ALL! :,( e has just been running around playing with Kenai instead. *jealous* haha
Well tonight I was sitting on my using my computer while the two ran around the room like lunatics. I hear a little noise and realize Koda just jumped up on the bed with me. He had been making runs for my nightstand all night, so I was prepared to grab him in another mad dash, but instead he just looked at me, so I picked him up. I gave him a snuggle - which he consented to - and then he started kissing me all over my face and arms! Then, I put him down and it seemed like he wanted to go play with Kenai again so I turned back to my computer to finish typing something and I look over again and he is sitting in my pillow case staring at me! He was waiting for me to play his favorite game, Defend the Fortress! I think he was saying that he (FINALLY!) forgives me!
Soo. i ..I played and we were having fun and I think Kenai got jealous because he then had an accident on the floor in front of the litter box, and then went and squatted in the rice dig box! I jumped up to grab him and he stopped and began to play, so I went back to Koda, Then he squatted again! I ran over hissing and scruffed him into the litter box. He left part of a poop in the rice but would NOT finish his poop in the litter box! So he got to go back in the cage. Along with Koda since they need to eat dinner anyways. But still! I NEVER had such serious poop issues with Koda! Kenai is a little devil about it! Koda was so easy to train. It took NO effort on my part for in cage training, and he picked it up very quickly outside of the cage. Kenai seems to be a lot slower on this. He also seems to be mentally slower - he's still a smart little guy, but he doesn't seem to learn NEARLY as fast as Koda! He hasn't figured his way up on the bed even though he is plenty big enough, and he has not learned that when I run hissing he is in trouble! haha I guess we are basically starting from square one after me being gone. *sigh*
