It has been a while since managed to get on here but was hoping could get some suggestions for two things..
To sum it up here:
Food similar to mice and chicken wings, possibly whole, to help give a balanced diet and variety.
Activities for the single ferret who doesn't care about toys and only wants to be chased when playing.
First my brat has become rather picky in what she eats. The food of choice that she will cause her to scream bloody murder and going on a killing spree if you dare try to take it once she has it are mice. Any size. This is one thing she will eat without hesitation...
Next she does enjoy chicken wings, though becomes stubborn if hasn't had a mouse in a while.
I have also been feeding her ground up whole rabbit, but now she is starting to not eat it as readily I have been getting rabbit meat from Hare Today-Gone Tomorrow and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for something to A)Replace the bunny meat and B)Keep her on a variety of things.
She does get pieces of fish now and then when we have it for dinner (raw before we cook it) and does seem to like the tilapia and salmon. Also some parts of turkey she seems to enjoy too.
The other thing is, she does not care about toys. What. So. Ever. She will interact a bit with them but has no desire to stash them all away or claim them. With me, she is a 'chase me chase me chase me' kinda girl, though would wrestle with a friend. I've recently bought a barrel-of-fun bird toy and need to try it with a pinky inside, something she'd be desperate for, but was hoping peopole had other ideas for this kind of ferret. She loves digging underneath the TV display and trying to get into things, but never liked a box of shredder paper, haven't managed to try packing peanuts. Being a single girl I think makes it a bit tough since it's hard to keep her going all the time with her only having one play style and no other ferrets that can easily follow and play with her in their own way.
