I don't know how to fix the eating in his litter box thing, but what I did when Rolo used the wrong corner was i attached one of those hamsters litter boxes. He started using wither that or his regular box, and now uses his regular one exclusively. He torpedoes towards it with tons of determination when he wakes up from a nap. I'm not sure what I really did to help him get to this stage, but when he would make a mistake I'd put him in his box, and I can tell when he's really wriggly I out him in his box cuz it's a sign of needing to go potty. I never gave him treats for using the box, and that may not be the best idea if he's already eating in it. Sorry I can't be more help, good luck
