Do you have fuzzes....get them away from the smoke asap. Thank goodness you caught it in time that there wasn't a fire, but if you have ferrets get them away from the smoke asap. Smoke is dangerous to them ciao

no damage but the ferrets were in the room with the smoke and so were my rats the front room is clear but im really thinking about moving them for the night i understand how sensitive they are because im asthmatic im still pulling air in and pumping it out stupid crayons, its what i get for trying to be creative

Scary stuff! I'm glad you caught it quickly. I've lived through a house fire. No fun.

Hahaha. Read the thread topic and thought you were serious and that you must be going through a serious traumatic event! How does one make crayons?

Unfortunately, this could have been a really serious event. Wax fires are very difficult to control and put out once started and the flash point of wax is low, hence the use of it for candles. ciao

it was pretty scary but everyone is fine now, other then the lingering smell of burned wax no fuzzies were hurt and the only thing destroyed was a muffin tin so all in all a pretty normal day

Glad everyone (human and fuzzy) were just fine!
Like Heather said, this could have been very scary...

Yikes, thank goodness everything turned out okay. Makes me sorta re-think my idea to make my own candles. Hmm.

Candles can be made safely, you just have to keep a close eye on them throughout the whole process.
