I know there is something about green poop. This one was of normal consistancy, but greenish? What do I need to look for/do?

Was it like lime green? Neon green? That is when you need to worry. Do you remember what you fed before you saw this poop? Sometimes, it can just be from the food you feed. Any way to get a picture of it?

Ha! No, I cleaned it up before I thought to get a pic. It was a one time deal, and it was a softer color, like sage. We've only had chicken, and I can't think of anything that they've swallowed unless it was the litter (yesterdays news) that might do that.

Sometimes my guys will have an "off" poop. I guess maybe its if they eat a piece of "ripe" chicken that they stashed. With kits you have to be careful because they have a tendency to ingest things. I've heard of kits that got into playdough and markers and their owners were terrified because they were having these neon green and red poops lol Kits sure can get into trouble. Was it just a one time thing? or are they still pooping green-blue? Its possible they just ate some "off" chicken but its also possible they got into something they shouldnt. Keep and eye on them to make sure they arent eating anything they shouldnt.

It was just one, and I don't know where they would have gotten something like that. I will say this, it was very close to the color of our carpet. However, they have only been on the carpet once, and that was about 18 hours before the poo. I thought they "moved" faster than that.
