So last night Kenai had his first Rice Box experience! He LOVED it! It was definitely the craziest and most excited/active I have seen him yet! Then Koda came and joined the fun.
I have to say, that Kenai is much more...interactive isn't quote the word....much more playful I guess you could say, than Koda. Interactive with objects I guess... Koda is all about exploring, getting into things, and really interactive stuff. He likes chase and wrestling your hand and chasing your hand through tunnels. He really only stashes toys, or plays with them when you are using them to play with him (and then he stashes them ). He will play with noisy toys in his cage at night but really he ignores them all more often than not. He likes the rice box, but after running his face through it a few times and running in backwards circles if he feels really spunky, will usually not give it more than a sniff. Even when you try to play with him in it, he jumps out to play chase instead.
Kenai on the other hand, looves toys (even as a Kit Koda wasn't into toys), and he went insane in the rice box! He is learning to hand wrestle, but will only do it for a few seconds. lol
On a side note, I got this mouse toy at the store, it has a "real electronic mouse noise!" and Koda LOVES it! I had to take it away actually. All he would do was play with it, and after just the first day it was ripped open...and covered in slobber! He is very rough with his mouth so he tore the seam. I now have to limit his play to just a few minutes, and then I have to chase him down and fight him for it. It is the only toy he has ever really loved! I just wish it were more durable!
