There is a list on yahoogroups (I used to be a member) that was created just for ferret shelters. They work together, mentor, share ideas (sometimes even space), work together during overloads. They also share client lists that you should not place with. Those are the people you want to get in touch with. I stopped hanging out there because what applies in the US and to shelters of that size doesn't apply up here (there are regulations, taxation, fiscal responsibilities that have to be met, the book keeping is horrendous). I'm just a small shelter/hospice, practically none of it applies to me. Good luck, let us know how it goes and what you find out. ciao
