I had a wonderful baby boy 10 months old passed due to ADV - Icarus that broke my heart, so now I am trying to switch my babies to a better diet I just bought wysong raw diet and been adding a little to their kibble all of them except mystic do not like raw meat so it will be a slow process. I love information when it comes to the best life style for my babies and that's why I join this form to learn even more

Welcome to the forum! There's a ton of great info up so browse around and feel free to ask any questions you'd like. Everyone is friendly and helpful and no question is considered silly. If you're thinking about switching to a natural raw or whole prey diet, consider checking out the mentor program. It's a great way to get one-on-one help with all your questions and concerns as you help your fuzzies discover the wonders of raw And by the way, we'd all love to see pictures of your babies!

Hi and welcome to the forum Great, you found the mentoring program so I don't have to direct you there . Please feel free to prowl the site, check out the various threads (there's tons of information here), ask questions. Don't be shy, everyone's friendly and more than willing to help out and we love pictures Read through some of the personal mentoring threads, it will give you some ideas. You can't post questions to these threads but they're great for getting ideas or just creating questions too. What a terrible loss, 10 months....just a baby. Poor wee thing. ADV? are the rest of your furkids clear? I hope that I will be seeing you around. ciao

Welcome to the group! It's great here, any and all questions are answered, it's great, because I've only been owned by ferrets for just over a year now and well, I've asked some strange questions! We love pictures!

Hi and welcome! I would love to hear more on your experience with ADV. Any information, experiences, pictures, etc that you can provide would be a great potential resource for someone who may have the horror of coming across it themselves. It is a terrible disease and I am very sorry that you lost your baby to it. The virus can live a long time outside of the ferret's body - have you checked your others for it? I am so sorry that you had to go through that heartbreak! Your other fuzzies all sound fantastic though, and are obviously well loved. We would love to see pictures and I look forwards to seeing you around the forum! Feel free to ask questions anywhere they pop up!
