Last night, as I was getting ready to clean the cages before I went to work, I was taking everyone out of the cages except Majik, & my husband said "Aren't you missing one?" I counted..."1,2,3,4,5,6, & Majik in his cage makes 7...nope, they're all here!" He said, "I thought you had 8..." I replied, "Nope, 7.....but that (#8) can be arranged.."  He said no...  I was thinking (oh no)  my next ferret will be a black mitt hob. I will wait for a while, probably next til next year(?) I want the babies to be older & Ace to be well settled before I add any more to the mix. We'll see how well I resist ferret math, especially after he said that!  |

It gets better (or worse, however you look at it..)
I made the mistake (?) of telling Julie the story, & that I have decided that my next ferret will be a black mitt hob...but as far as I know, none of my favorite breeders have any, so I am safe for now...
She emailed me to tell me that Kerry HTF-Hat Trick Ferrets has a beautiful black mitt hob that she saw the weekend of the breeder symposium, & if I wanted a bm hob, that I should jump on it, because they are not common & often the breeders keep them.....
I really, really need to stick to the numer I have...for now....I am gonna have my hands ful for a little while (another story that I will post)....
It's SO much easier when there are just none available!
I am not posting a link for you all to see the hob kit, because when I did that with Ace, I ended up with him....LOL

ok what is a black mitt? i need to take a pix of Kat and post it for u omg she is a total diff color i know she is a mitt but she is dark with smoke/gray/black in her with a white face and her fur is longer then all the others . bty love the story i tell my BF i want this ferret at work he says get rid of the dogs and i laugh at him little does he know/remember we have a pure breed choc lab if we want her lol

Godsss He's beautiful....How can you resist  I will never have the chance to have my very own little hob so I live vicariously through others Hey, hubby already thinks you have 8 why not??!! I had a rescue that worked like that. It wasn't until dh picked up one and said...who's this? I told him and he made the remark about not remembering me having one named that. It was my little Thor who was the closest thing I ever had to a little hob (as he was altered just before I got him, turned in as a notorious biter). He looks identical to my Napoleon and my Ghenghis, so if you don't know the guys really well....mistaken identities happen. Odin was the only hob I ever had turned in and he was about 5 and very frustrated. So, when you run a rescue and I had 15 fuzzies at the time, it was off to the vets for a snip  He was much more relaxed and friendly (in a different way lol) after that. Ciao |

OMG Zoot Suit Riot looks JUST like Fugue (only Fugue has white toes on his front and back paws and not full mitts).
