Savers (it's like a Salvation Army/Goodwill/second hand shop) had a 50% off sale for Veterans Day so naturally I went and spent a couple hours perusing the aisles. I found a lot of baby blankets, fleece blankets, a couple cute comforters. Here is one that Cidalia is showing off: Sometimes I really just can't stand how fricken cute they are.

I know what you mean! They can drive you right up the wall some days, then they'll look at you with "that" look, as if to say "Don't you love me anymore?" Little monsters can get away with anything She looks so comfy warm, snuggled up in her new blankie

she looks VERY cozy! Thrift stores are dangerous, I always spend way too much time there...and then spend way too much money!

@ Sherrylynne - I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! They are SO bad! @ Ranold - Savers had a 50% off sale, so I got 6 bags of ferret and human stuff for a total of $60. All those blankets, fleece, and everything else plus lots of shirts, a really cute red dress (I collect vintage dresses.. don't ask me why, I just do, it's a TERRIBLE habit) and a pair of shiny blue ballet flats for fancy nights out. I looked the shoes up, they are sold for $72 and I got them brand new for $4.50 haha I go through shirts like crazy, between all the animals, the home projects, working for rescues or shelters, needing under shirts under scrubs, and of course just being a general grungy college student I go through t-shirts like crazy. I can't even think of the last time I've spent money on NEW clothes - everything is from second hand stores. I had a heart attack when the cashier rang out my boyfriend's clothing he insisted he went and bought at Macy's - for 2 pairs of pants and 3 t-shirts he spent $200!!! I told him he was out of his mind to spend that kind of money on 5 pieces of clothes that would have cost him no more than $20 at a second hand store, some of which still have the tags on them.
