I've never had gizzards (or Rocky Mountain Oysters for that matter), but on an escapade to get my furkids heart, I found myself in a middle eastern store talking to the guy about how delicious lamb heart is. He convinced me to try it, and so while I was prepping it for the ferrets, I sliced off a few thin pieces and pan fried it like he told me to. It was actually /really/ good. Tasted like a really tender steak.
