I know they are good for muscle building of the jaw... but I started thinking, what are Gizzards? I know its probably safer not knowing but what the heck!

It's an organ some animals have to aid in digestion. All birds have them. Food passes through the gizzard to help grind it for the next stage of digestion. I assume it's because most birds don't have teeth to grind their food. You can buy chicken gizzards at a lot of grocery stores as some people eat them.

We do round ups a couple of times a year ( where you brand , vaccinate and castrate ) and part of the deal is everyone gets to eat the oysters , good stuff IMO.
