I know they are good for muscle building of the jaw... but I started thinking, what are Gizzards? I know its probably safer not knowing but what the heck!  |

It's an organ some animals have to aid in digestion. All birds have them. Food passes through the gizzard to help grind it for the next stage of digestion. I assume it's because most birds don't have teeth to grind their food. You can buy chicken gizzards at a lot of grocery stores as some people eat them.  |

We do round ups a couple of times a year ( where you brand , vaccinate and castrate ) and part of the deal is everyone gets to eat the oysters , good stuff IMO. |
