My name is sunnyberra, and I'm the proud ferrent of three raw-eating fuzzbutts.
Pixie is my oldest at five, and I switched her when she was two. Her littermate and bonded companion, Yew, had kibble scraping his throat bloody, and his teeth were atrocious, so I decided (after he healed up) that they would be switched. Yew transitioned fine, but Pixie had a rough time, although she eventually caved and started eating - and ENJOYING - the raw food!
Unfortunately, Yew passed away before his third birthday. Awhile later, I introduced Yogi (2 years old), and started him on the raw food right away. Same for my youngest girl, Sian (2 years old). Their transitions were painless and immediate (yay!)
They get a wide variety of foods (I do my ordering at Hare-Today, because I do not have a good selection of foods at my grocery. I tried it, and it was better than kibble, but nothing compares to the results I see through ordering with them). Basically, anything goes, unless it has 1) fur 2) is chicken or 3) is beef/pork. Chicken plays havoc on Pixie's stomach, and for some reason, all my guys hate furred animals, but feathers are just fine!
Their biggest favorites are duck and quail (both ground and whole), and they love playing tug of war with the whole dressed quail and ripping it to shreds.
The biggest news, I guess, is that I'm soon going to be expanding my business. This Saturday, I'll be adding in to the mix a 1 1/2 year old rescued girl. She's, of course, kibble fed, so I'm *really* look into having to transition another older fert. But we'll get it done, and she'll be able to reap the benefits of this diet, too!
Uh, and I apologize for rambling so much :\
ETA: Okay, so here's a pic of the Triad:
