 Hi all! My name is Laura (nick name lozza or lolo or lozmoz!) I am 26 years old and am from Adelaide, South Australia! I am new to owning a ferret and it was suggested that i join this forum to find out more about feeding my ferret raw foods.. I own one ferret, Rufus, he is 4 (approx) years old. He is not by any means a fussy eater which is great! I would like to feed him more raw meat and am looking forward to using this forum as a way of finding out what to feed Rufus in order to keep him happy and healthy From Laura and Rufus >:-)

Please feel free to prowl the site, check out threads (you may want to pay particular attention to our nutritional section), post questions....get involved. They're an awesome group of people here and don't be afraid of what may seem like a silly question....there are no such things. The people here are friendly and very knowlegeable and responses are usually fairly quick if someone has an answer. We are also very fond of photos of the wee ones.
I hope that I will be seeing more of you and Rufus around. Looking forward to chatting with you

Welcome to the Forum!  Pictures are necessary.  Please read around the Nutrition section of the forum and feel free to post any questions. We have a great mentor program here as well that you can sign up for to help switch your fuzzbutt to all raw. |

Hi everyone! thanks for your warm welcome.. i have been speaking to someone who suggested i join, and i have switched rufus's food to mainly all raw.. i am very interested in the mentor program.. how do i get involved in that?
i cant figure out how to upload a pic either :-(

You need to use a medium like photobucket. Once your pics are uploaded there, either use the "img" code(copy/paste code below pic) and paste here, or click the little square below the picture, go to the bottom of the page, click "generate html". Copy/paste the recommended one for message boards, then paste here |

If you figure out the banner thing let me know. Giuli, the original administrator here, created my first banner (I'm completely computer illiterate, I know ferrets but not computers ). Most of the little fuzzies on my banner have long since gone to the bridge and it really should be updated. ciao |

I can't really do any sparkly things or animations, but I can do background, pictures, text, etc. And Lozza your fuzz is adorable! |

I'm game for that.....what would you like me to do? I've got 12 furbrats at the moment....that can be a bit of a pain to fit onto a banner.

I've got 12 furbrats at the moment....that can be a bit of a pain to fit onto a banner. ciao Well you have 11 in your current banner sooo... ;P Just email me (you still have my email right?) the pics that you want (and names), and any other requests like backround color(s) or a background image, text, etc. I will see what I can do, try a few things, and send it to you to see if you like it or not until we get one you like. I have photoshop and I'm no expert with it, but I can still do a handful of things and different effects and whatnot with it. Sorry for thread hijacking! |
