Hi!! My name is Lauren, and I have four ferrets. Matilda (1.9yrs old), Baxter (1.2 yrs old), Oliver and Penelope (7months old).
i am dedicated to my little buggers, and think that a natural diet would be great for them!!

Hi and welcome.
Most of us started by taking the kibble away for 6-12 hours and then giving them a "soup" that is made by blending together kibble, eggs, oilive oil, chicken breast and either some water or sodium free chicken stock/broth to make it soupy. YOu can try to get the babies to eat it by putting some on their nose, having them lick it off your finger, or trying to spoon feed them. Feel free to PM me for more info.
Finding out how much soup to feed them can vary from ferret to ferret.
Good luck and let us know with what we can help.

Just a side note, if you have an insulinomic ferret, be sure not to fast him/her. Post your questions on how to start in the "newbie questions" area to get more replies. When the informative Holistic Ferret Website comes out this august, it will have all the info you need to switch your ferrets. However, its not ready yet, so until that time, you just gotta get the advice/info from me and the Holistic Ferret Mentors. If you post your questions there Im sure you'll get a bunch of replies
