You could try using real unadulterated fat? Just trim off your beef or ox or whatever to raise the amount of fat in your furries diet. I suppose you could use that, but it's been cooked or definitely dried to a powder so probably not as good as the real thing but....it could definitely be serviceable if you choose. I would be tempted to find real fat, it doesn't have to be chicken...I give my guys the trim off my roasts, off the steaks, even the spareribs ciao

I do the same thing heather does. Any meats I prepared for dinner are trimmed of fat and connective tissues- possibly even some bone - before they are seasoned or cooked. If I'm not going to use these scraps, they get tossed in a freezer bag and frozen.

same here, what ever meat I'm cooking for dinner that gets trimmed or de-bones gets put into the ferret and dogs food bowls.
