Hi my name is Jessica, and today I have decided to admit I am indeed addicted to ferret huffing. I never smelled the tails till you all pointed it out.
But about the smell being left behind I use all natural biodegradeable laundry detergent and fabric softner and there is no smell left behind unless I go more than a week not washing. Then I wash using the heavy cycle.

ya I like the way my litte guys smell now..they don't have that kibble odor anymore..its more of a clean smell but you can still get a hint of ferret scent lol..and you know since they have been on raw I can not smell ANYTHING coming from their cage and neither can anyone who comes over. lol its just their bedding they get so so dirty with litter haha Awesome!

This is why I tell people "your ferret (and their poop/pee) will SERIOUSLY smell way less on a natural diet!" but you really have to see...er...smell....er.....not smell (?) it for yourself to understand what I am talking about! It's great, isnt it?
