Is there some way to have a banner that we could on our myspace pages, etc that would advertise for this forum if we so choose? I'm excited to see the forum grow ;D

Hey Jenn, The artist (Polawat Darapong) who did all the work on the forum (graphics AND emoticons PLUS the HF official logo) just emailed me and said he would be able to make a banner like that. I will post it for you (and for anyone else who is interested) when he finishes it. He rocks!

Jenn we have the banner made (see top of the forum). Ferretmaster is going to resize the banner (to make it a tad smaller for use as a promotional banner) and add a link to it, so you can click on the banner and it takes you to the forum. He's got a busy week ahead but once he sends me the promo banner I'll post it here.

Holistic Ferret Banner ad siggys are now up lol! Just copy and paste this code (minus the three asterix ---> * ) into wherever you want to promote the site! A BIG thank you goes out to Dom (ferretmaster) for applying the link to the banner. And a big thank you goes out to Polawat (the forum artist) for making the banner in the first place lol. [*url=http://holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi][*IMG]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/ferretmaster/HFresize.gif[/IMG][/url*] This is what the banner will look and work like when you copy/paste the code MINUS the three asterix.

Ok, so, say I want to add this to my myspace page. I want to ad it in the "books" box (although it would be the same code in any box). The link given won't work (I just tried). Is there someone with more html knowledge than me than can translate this into myspace format html? Thanks!!

To post on myspace
<a href="http://holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi"><img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/ferretmaster/HFresize.gif"></a>
Myspace will turn the link to the board into a msplinks. So you might have to go back in your profile wherever you pasted it and look for the "<img src" part again, if its not there just paste it
Oh and if you are putting it in your books section it might make it huge. You can resize it yourself to whatever suits you. For online I liked to use this site "http://mypictr.com/". Just resize it to whatever you want, then download it to your desktop or wherever. After you do that then upload it using whatever picture uploading storing thing of your choice , photobucket or imageshack. Copy the direct link and use the same code I mentioned above. But like this
<a href="http://holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi"><img src="DIRECT LINK TO YOUR PICTURE HERE"></a>
You can also jsut post a code with the exact height and width. But I think these ways are easier.

Uh, so basically I need to just save it as a pic to my harddrive and post it like I would any other pic?
nvmd, that wouldn't work - it wouldn't have the link.....grrrrrr
oh well, I'll figure it out later....
